The first step is a free medical evaluation based on the documents provided by the patient. This evaluation is performed by the Proton Therapy Centre medical team and does not include an online consultation.
After the medical team reviews the documentation and confirms whether proton therapy may be appropriate, the patient will be offered an informative consultation with Dra. Stephanie E. Bolle for 400 €.
In some cases, proton therapy may need to be combined with chemotherapy, which can be organized at Fundación Jiménez Díaz. Medical oncology follow-up may be performed at Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid or Fundación Jiménez Díaz, depending on the patient’s diagnosis, case complexity and treatment protocol.

Patient-facing description:
This package is designed for patients with selected central nervous system tumors, including malignant and benign tumors such as meningiomas and chordomas, when proton therapy is considered medically appropriate.
Proton therapy may help deliver radiation precisely to the tumor area while reducing dose to nearby sensitive structures such as the brainstem, optic nerves, spinal cord or healthy brain tissue.
