Procedure
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Excess breast tissue, fat, and skin are removed, and the breasts are reshaped to achieve a smaller, firmer, and more youthful contour. The nipple-areola complex is repositioned to a natural, aesthetically pleasing height while preserving its appearance whenever possible.
Recovery
Most patients can return to light daily activities within 1–2 weeks, while strenuous activities and heavy lifting should be avoided for approximately 4–6 weeks. Swelling gradually subsides, and the final breast shape continues to improve over the following months.
