After a disappointing dental experience elsewhere, I was nervous. Bookimed was a credible service that handled the search, connecting me with WestDent Clinic. The dentist was honest about the tooth preparation needed for my full mouth restoration and explained the color and shape options for the zirconia veneers, matching my preferences perfectly. The staff were gracious and helped me choose my treatment without the pressure I’d felt before. I am very grateful. The wait times after arriving could be improved, but it was a small issue. There were no surprise expenses, and they provided a clear aftercare guide.
After a disappointing experience with dental work in Istanbul, I was nervous about trying again. Tatiana was extremely helpful and connected me with WestDent Clinic. The excellent experience continued at WestDent. The surgeon’s approach to planning and communication was the most significant factor for me. He took the time to review my CT scan with me, explaining the entire strategy for the dental implant before proceeding. Knowing that he would personally perform the implant placement was reassuring, and he also gave me a clear timeline for the final crown placement, which helps in planning. Post-procedure support has been very practical. The clinic gave me a clear aftercare guide to follow. They stay in touch, and have been consistently easy to reach with any questions I have had during my recovery so far. From a financial perspective, everything was transparent; there were no additional expenses on top of the original quote.

I recently returned from my second trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. In September 2025 I had full mouth extractions, 12 Zirconia implants placed (6 upper jaw, 6 lower jaw), gums stitched over the implants to help Osseointegration of the implants. I returned in January 2026 for the final stage treatment and the installation of 24 Zirconium crowns. This involved the implants being revealed. The healing caps of the implants being removed and temporary abutments fitted so impressions could be taken of my gums, upper and lower jaws. This is so the implants will fit perfectly when my new teeth had been designed with the aid of C.A.D. The abutments were then removed and healing caps replaced onto the implants. Next day my permanent abutments were installed and I was given some temporary teeth which placed onto my abutments, and could be removed. They were made of a foul tasting material called PMMA. But it gave a good idea of the final results, even though they were a greyish colour. The final day my permanent teeth were checked rigourously for bite adjustment, gaps, spacing, alignment etc, before being placed permanently. My second visit was a five day stay, and involved visiting the Clinic each day, and a couple of longer days towards the end. But I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look. But I have to say big Thanks to my medical coordinator at Bookimed, Dr Kora. By booking my trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir through Bookimed, it completely removed the added stress of having to organise all of the logistics of the trip on my own. Dr Kora was extremely helpful and efficient in helping to organise and arrange everything with the Clinic on my behalf. Also answering any questions or concerns I may have had at any point, over the two trips. For which I am extremely grateful!
I recently returned from my second visit to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. The Clinic is staffed by warm and welcoming people. You are treated well, and the Clinic itself is clean and hygienic.
I honestly can't say that there was anything I didn't like. I felt like I was treated well during both visits and the level of professionalism and care was very good. Obviously having dental implants involves a significant amount of dental work to be done, but I felt it was done as well as possible.

Arranged all of the logistics with WestDent Clinic on my behalf for both trips. For which I will always be grateful. I would highly recommend Bookimed to anyone who is thinking about going abroad for a medical procedure!

What surprised me most was how quickly the whole procedure was over. I’d expected to spend at least four hours in the dentist’s chair, but my dentist finished in less than two. During that time, he removed a number of decayed teeth with great professionalism and fitted 10 Nobel Biocare implants. He personally consulted with me before the operation and carried it out himself. I now feel better than I expected. The clinic is always on hand, which is very important during the recovery period. There were no additional costs. I’d advise future patients to have a good meal the evening before the operation. And if you’re facing the same extent of treatment as I did, make sure to take plenty of tissues with you to the hotel.
It’s hard for me to say what I didn’t like. I think everything went absolutely brilliantly. Everyone, from the coordinator to the driver, carried out their duties to perfection. I’m very grateful to everyone!
I think my visit went well, but I’m not sure what could be done to make my treatment more comfortable.
