How Much Does CT scan of the body part Cost in Austria?

A CT scan of a body part in Austria typically costs from $300 to $600. The price depends on the body area and the protocol used. Contrast agents also affect the total cost. In the US, similar scans cost around $700 on average. Austria offers savings of about 43% compared to US prices.

  • Contrast enhancement: Adds to the base price for better tissue visibility.
  • City variations: Facilities in Graz or Vienna may have different pricing tiers.
  • Multiple areas: Scanning two body parts usually costs less than two single sessions.
  • Medical report: A detailed analysis by a radiologist is included in the price.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a private facility in Austria allows for faster access to diagnostic imaging. Leech Private Clinic in Graz has nearly 20 years of experience in medical diagnostics. It operates with just 44 beds to provide personal attention to each patient. This smaller scale often results in a more comfortable and quieter diagnostic environment. The clinic follows ISO standards to maintain high levels of service and safety.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 79 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

Angelina Ivanenko was my contact in Bookimed and even she was on vacation for the Christmas holidays she did not put on hold the communication
Very fast reaction from Bookimed in communication. Initial discussion was for an appointment in AKH and subsequently we have been forwarded to the Privatklinik. The Klinik looks very well managed. We still did not proceed with the treatment and I'm not currently able to share opinion about the Clinic itself and the treatment (will come back soon, once have treatment there). I've been in the Wiener Privatklinik for a consultation. I manage to meet the exact doctors/professors for which I was looking for a contact and did a good job. The whole story was organized and managed by Bookimed with care for the patient. Angelina Ivanenko was my contact in Bookimed and even she was on vacation for the Christmas holidays she did not put on hold the communication. For us this was very important that we are not losing time.
