Dr. Ming Shao is a Professor, Chief Physician of Neurological Rehabilitation, Postdoctoral Fellow in Neurosurgery, and Doctoral Supervisor. He has over 35 years of experience. He specializes in movement disorders and provides medical and surgical care, including deep brain stimulation, for Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. He also focuses on neurorehabilitation and uses noninvasive neuromodulation for stroke, spinal cord injury, and disorders of consciousness.
He completed postdoctoral research on the surgical treatment of Parkinson’s disease at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University. He was selected for the Beijing Science and Technology Nova Program. He led several National Key R&D subprojects. He has published more than 60 papers in core journals. He has received several provincial awards for scientific and technological achievements.
