I am very pleased with the result, the work was done quickly and efficiently
The appointment took place exactly at the appointed time. The doctor met me, examined me, and told me everything in detail. The price did not change from the agreed one (although we were travelling from a long way and I was worried that something would go wrong) But I am very pleased with the result, the work was done quickly and efficiently. Without pain and scars. I am also grateful to Stanislav! If he had recommended this clinic to me and led me to a consultation and further papilloma removal, I might not have decided to go. But I trusted him, and I don't regret it. I recommend it to everyone

On November 23, I underwent a "Botox" procedure. According to the cosmetologist, 130 units of the drug Dysport were administered. Unfortunately, 12 days have passed, and there is no result. In the forehead and glabella area, there is full activity, and in the eye area, there is also no result, except for swelling, which appeared on the second day and persists to this day. I understand that the swelling will subside in the next 2.5-3 months, but muscle paralysis in the forehead and glabella area apparently will not occur, either due to an insufficient amount of the drug or incorrect injection depth. I cannot recommend this procedure at this clinic.

I visited the clinic for mole removal. I strongly advise confirming the full cost of services in advance, as the price during the procedure turned out to be significantly higher than initially quoted. Ultimately, I paid 9,500 kronor for the removal of two small moles, which were neither large nor deep. I consider such a price unjustifiably high. Additionally, I was unpleasantly surprised by the charge for a prescription — 500 kronor for an ointment is something I encountered for the first time. Furthermore, I was practically forced to purchase another one directly at the clinic for 1,000 kronor. They explained that it was necessary to use both ointments alternately. This situation appears non-transparent and raises doubts about the justification of both the prices and the prescriptions. Therefore, I recommend considering the option of undergoing similar procedures in Ukraine, where prices are significantly more affordable.
Let me put it this way: I haven't seen the full result after the procedure yet because there is still a scab, and it's healing well. Therefore, I can't say anything about the result just yet.
I visited the clinic for laser mole removal. I highly recommend verifying the full cost of services in advance, as the price during the procedure turned out to be significantly higher than initially quoted. In the end, I paid 9500 crowns for the removal of two small moles, which were neither large nor deep. I consider this price unreasonably high. I was also unpleasantly surprised by the 500 crowns charged for a prescription for ointment — a first-time experience for me. Additionally, I was practically compelled to purchase another ointment directly from the clinic for 1000 crowns. They explained that it was necessary to alternate between using both ointments. This situation seems opaque and raises doubts about the justification of both the prices and prescriptions. Therefore, I suggest considering the option of having similar procedures done in Ukraine, where prices are significantly more affordable.

FAQ about Botox wrinkles in Czech Republic

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

When will I see results and how long do they last for Botox wrinkle treatment in the Czech Republic?

Botox results in the Czech Republic typically begin to appear within 3 to 4 days, with full effects visible after 10 to 14 days. These results generally last between 3 and 4 months, though individual metabolism and muscle strength can extend effectiveness up to 6 months.

  • Initial onset: Skin begins smoothing and softening around day 3 post-injection.
  • Peak effect: Final results settle in by day 14 as the neurotoxin binds fully.
  • Standard duration: Most patients maintain visible rejuvenation for about 3 to 4 months.
  • Variable range: Effects may last 2 to 6 months depending on individual metabolism.

Bookimed Expert Insight: The Czech Republic is a hidden gem for aesthetic precision. ARS Clinic in Prague is led by a founder who personally trains other specialists in botulinum toxin application. This focus on education often results in more refined, natural-looking outcomes compared to clinics that treat Botox as a basic add-on service.

Patient Consensus: Expect results to fade faster during your first session. Subsequent treatments often last longer as your facial muscles gradually learn to relax.

Which facial areas are most commonly treated with Botox for wrinkles in the Czech Republic?

The upper third of the face—specifically the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows (glabella), and crow’s feet—are the most commonly treated facial areas in the Czech Republic. Clinics in Prague and Brno typically package these as three zones to ensure balanced facial expressions.

  • Standard three zones: Forehead lines, glabella frown lines, and outer eye crow’s feet are primary targets.
  • Glabella treatment: Injections between the brows soften vertical lines to reduce a stressed facial appearance.
  • Forehead lines: Surgeons often treat horizontal lines alongside the glabella to prevent heavy, drooping eyebrows.
  • Secondary areas: Czech dermatologists also treat bunny lines, gummy smiles, and pebbles on the chin.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Prague is a European hub for aesthetic training. ARS Clinic founder Dr. Timur Mamayev actually teaches other specialists how to apply botulinum toxin. This high concentration of expert instructors in one city helps maintain technical precision across local clinics.

Patient Consensus: Many patients prefer conservative dosing or baby Botox to keep natural movement and avoid a frozen look. Choosing three-area packages is common to prevent new wrinkles from appearing on the nose bridge.

How long does the Botox procedure take and is there downtime for wrinkle treatment in the Czech Republic?

Botox wrinkle treatments in the Czech Republic take about 10–20 minutes. The procedure is an outpatient service requiring no downtime. Patients usually return to work immediately, though full aesthetic results typically manifest over 10–14 days following the initial botulinum toxin application.

  • Procedure duration: Injections usually require only 10 to 20 minutes to complete.
  • Recovery period: Most patients resume normal daily activities immediately after leaving the clinic.
  • Activity restrictions: Avoid lying down or exercising for 4 hours to prevent migration.
  • Final results: Initial effects appear within 2–5 days after the outpatient session.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many clinics offer Botox, ARS Clinic in Prague stands out because its founder personally trains other specialists in injection techniques. Selecting a clinic with teaching credentials often ensures more precise placement and natural-looking results for international patients.

Patient Consensus: Patients value how quickly they can return to work, though mild redness usually lasts a few hours. Scheduling at least 2 weeks before major events is recommended to allow the full smoothing effect to settle.

Are English-speaking doctors and clinics widely available for international patients seeking Botox wrinkles in the Czech Republic?

English-speaking doctors and clinics are widely available for international patients in the Czech Republic, especially in Prague. Top-tier private centers employ specialists with international training and offer dedicated care pathways to ensure clear communication during consultations and outpatient Botox injections.

  • Language proficiency: Doctors at clinics like ARS Clinic and Altos Clinic speak fluent English.
  • International training: Specialists often train in Paris, London, and Kraków to meet global standards.
  • Accredited facilities: Clinics follow European Union health protocols and hold International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) memberships.
  • Support staff: High-end private facilities hire coordinators specifically to assist foreign patients with bookings.

Bookimed Expert Insight: ARS Clinic in Prague is a standout choice because its founder actually trains other specialists in botulinum toxin application. Choosing a clinic that serves as a training hub often ensures you receive the most precise anatomy-based planning available in the region.

Patient Consensus: Private clinics in Prague offer the most reliable English-speaking services. Patients suggest calling ahead to confirm that the reception and scheduling staff are as fluent as the doctors.
