Dr. Aristeidis Stavroulopoulos is a Consultant Nephrologist. He is Director of the Athens Nephrology Institute (Nephroexpert) and of Pan Health Group. He graduated as valedictorian from the University of Crete Medical School. He has extensive experience in Greece and abroad.
He worked in the Renal and Transplant Department at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (Consultant/Specialist Registrar level). He also served as a Nephrologist at Guy’s Hospital, King’s College London. He serves as an evaluator for European Union health program funding committees in Brussels.
He collaborates with Bionephros, NEKAD, and NEKAS chronic hemodialysis units, as well as the Iasys Clinic in Athens. He uses lung ultrasound to assess fluid status. He has publications and presentations in Greece and abroad. He is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Society of Nephrology (former Treasurer), the European Renal Association, and the International Osteoporosis Foundation. He volunteers at the Municipal Clinics of Kallithea.
Dr. Nikolaos Papadopoulos, MD, PhD, is an internist with expertise in hepatology and over 25 years of hospital practice. He is the Director of the Internal Medicine Department at IASYS Clinic. He supervises inpatient care, promotes patient safety, and coordinates comprehensive management, including surgical and other complex cases.
He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (SSAS). He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at Sotiria General Hospital and trained in clinical hepatology at Hippokration. He earned a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He led the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens (401 GMHA) and has served at both 401 GMHA and NIMTS. He has numerous publications in international journals and is an active conference participant.
Dr. Sotirios Papathanasiou, MD, PhD, is an interventional cardiologist and arrhythmologist with over 20 years of experience. He is certified in interventional cardiology by EAPCI and the ESC. His expertise includes coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias (including atrial fibrillation), heart failure, valvular disease, and congenital heart disease. He performs coronary angiography, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
Education: Medical degree from the University of Ioannina School of Medicine. PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1999–2005). Postgraduate degree in interventional cardiology from the University of Athens. Training: Hippokrateion Hospital (University Cardiology Department), Alexandra Hospital, Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, and Attikon Hospital. Affiliations: European Society of Cardiology (ESC), EAPCI, Hellenic Cardiological Society, and Hellenic Society of Lipidology and Atherosclerosis.

Ilias Tsoutsos, M.D., is a nephrologist and Director of the Dialysis Unit at IASYS Clinic. He completed postgraduate training at “Laiko” General Hospital of Athens. His training covered the full field of nephrology. He focused on chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis, and care of patients with end‑stage renal disease. He served for four years as a Registrar (Attending, Grade B) in the Nephrology Department of the General Hospital of Lamia.
He leads the IASYS Dialysis Unit in Vyronas, Athens. The unit provides hemodialysis and hemodiafiltration using Gambro technology. Care follows strict protocols with cardiology monitoring. A nursing team trained in nephrology supports all sessions. As part of Pan Health Group, he coordinates care for international visitors through the Dialysis Travel Program.
