I felt like both were done taking exactly what I wanted into account and the overall symmetry at the end for my nostrils was excellent - my nose had been broken and before surgery lack of symmetry was a big issue
I had a really great experience with my doctor and care here. I wanted a very natural looking nose, not to look "doll-like" or like I had a rhinoplasty. Same for lip filler. I felt like both were done taking exactly what I wanted into account and the overall symmetry at the end for my nostrils was excellent - my nose had been broken and before surgery lack of symmetry was a big issue. I believe it required different degrees of cutting for each nostril so I'm very impressed that the end result's symmetry appears less than 1mm different from one another, that's a huge improvement from before. The shape is really nice and I was impressed that after surgery the packing was done in such a way that I was able to breathe through my nose the whole time, even during my recovery.

Terrible surgeon. Will not take the time to speak with you, when he does he knows limited English and is very very rushed. The first time me he gave me results that were so drastic I looked like a pig or someone from who-ville. I had to pay for a second surgery for him to give me my old nose but even worse! (Again super rushed, had zero time to make a decision). Absolutely awful experience. Scary. He refused to even try to fix my nose now for another 6 months. Even though I offered to pay again. Have to date and see friends humiliated with a half finished face. Go to someone with talent and who actually cares. He doesn’t. You are just a number to the surgeons there.

- "My dental work as well as my amazing nose job - natural and perfect
Amazing service and was taken care of by Dr. Ana and the Bookimed team. I booked two services - dental crowns with Dr Ana and rhinoplasty with Dr Deborah at Gilenis. Easy process, and I am so so happy with the results. My new emax crowns and dental work are perfect, Dr Ana did a thorough job and guaranteed the work and did a follow up check with any revisions. Dr Deborah did my rhinoplasty. And I just sent her the biggest thank you note, as I was the most nervous on this procedure. I am at day 8, and my nose swelling is looking better and better everyday AND perfect!!!! I cannot wait to see the final final results, but I am so happy. It is still my nose and natural like I wanted, but so much better. My dorsal hump is gone, and my nostrils and tip are smaller and a little less round. And the profile - that is the biggest positive change immediately! I was on zoom today on day 8, and no one noticed but mentioned how good I looked (exactly what I wanted!). My dental work as well as my amazing nose job - natural and perfect. I plan to refer anyone who needs work done, and go back in a couple weeks for a lip lift as my nose is healing so well.

FAQ about Ethnic Rhinoplasty in Mexico

How long should I plan to stay in Mexico after the surgery before it's safe to travel back?

What emotional support resources are available for international patients undergoing surgery in Mexico?

Many clinics offer psychological support services or can recommend local therapists specializing in cosmetic surgery patients. Additionally, online support groups provide platforms where patients can share experiences and receive encouragement from others who have undergone similar procedures.

How do costs compare when considering travel, accommodation, and other related expenses for surgery in Mexico?

The overall cost of Ethnic Rhinoplasty in Mexico can be significantly lower than in countries like the US or Canada, even after factoring in travel and accommodation expenses. However, it's crucial to budget for additional costs such as post-operative care and potential travel extensions due to recovery needs.

What should I consider regarding the cultural sensitivity and understanding of ethnic features by surgeons in Mexico?

When selecting a surgeon for Ethnic Rhinoplasty, consider their experience with diverse ethnicities and their ability to respect and enhance natural features. Review their portfolio for similar cases and discuss your specific goals during consultations to ensure cultural sensitivity is prioritized.

While some clinics offer assistance with travel logistics, it's important to confirm these details beforehand as they are often not included in the procedure cost.

How do I handle any complications that might arise after returning home from surgery in Mexico?

If complications arise after returning home, contact your surgeon immediately for guidance. They may provide instructions for local medical attention or arrange a virtual consultation to assess your condition. It's essential to have a plan in place with a local healthcare provider who can assist if urgent care is needed.

What kind of follow-up care will I need once I return home after my surgery in Mexico?

Follow-up care typically includes monitoring for any signs of infection or complications and ensuring proper healing. Many clinics offer virtual follow-up consultations via video calls, allowing you to stay connected with your surgeon even after returning home.

Are there any language barriers I should be concerned about when communicating with medical staff in Mexico?

Many clinics in Mexico employ bilingual staff fluent in English to cater to international patients. However, it's advisable to confirm language services during your initial consultations to ensure clear communication throughout your treatment process.

What should I know about the recovery process after Ethnic Rhinoplasty when traveling back from Mexico?

Recovery from Ethnic Rhinoplasty typically requires 1 to 2 weeks before returning to work and normal activities. Swelling and bruising may persist for several weeks, and it's crucial to avoid strenuous activities during this time. Plan to stay in Mexico for at least 7 to 10 days post-surgery for initial follow-ups before flying back home.

How can I ensure the surgeon in Mexico is qualified and experienced in Ethnic Rhinoplasty?
