If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.
Josh and team had fantastic thorough communication
Not sure... give me extra stem cells. Maybe have more food?

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about CO2 Laser Treatment in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is CO2 laser treatment in Thailand and how does it work?

CO2 laser treatment in Thailand uses a high-energy laser to remove damaged skin layers and stimulate collagen. It works through fractional laser resurfacing, creating tiny heat columns that trigger skin renewal and tightening. Clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok offer this precise treatment with expert dermatologists.

  • Fractional laser technique: creates microscopic columns of thermal injury for controlled skin renewal.
  • Collagen stimulation: promotes elastin and collagen to improve skin texture and firmness.
  • Multi-session approach: several treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart ensure visible skin remodelling.
  • Follow-up care: regular monitoring helps prevent pigmentation changes and advises sun protection.
  • Recognised providers: clinics accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons Thailand treat Australian patients.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai clinics like ID Clinic and Wansiri Hospital combine fractional CO2 laser with skilled dermatologists certified by the Medical Council of Thailand. Their multi-session plans and strong follow-up reduce risks of hyperpigmentation, which is crucial for darker skin tones common among Asian and Australian patients.

Patient Consensus: Patients highlight Thailand’s affordable, effective CO2 laser treatments with clear guidance on recovery. Many find skin texture and pigmentation improve noticeably after a few sessions. Australian patients appreciate accessible expert care and detailed aftercare advice in Bangkok clinics.

What skin conditions can be treated with CO2 laser in Thailand?

CO2 lasers in Thailand treat acne scars, wrinkles, sun damage, benign skin growths, and surgical scars. Both fractional and traditional lasers help resurfacing and skin tightening. Clinics in Bangkok use combination therapies with tranexamic acid or IPL to reduce pigmentation risks in Asian skin types.

  • Acne scars: Fractional CO2 laser removes up to 90% of deep scars after multiple sessions.
  • Wrinkles and skin laxity: Tightens and smooths deep lines, improving texture.
  • Benign growths: Removes moles, skin tags, warts, and milia precisely.
  • Sun damage and scars: Treats sun spots, surgical or trauma scars effectively.
  • Pigmentation control: Combined treatments with IPL or tranexamic acid reduce hyperpigmentation risk.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bangkok clinics, like ID Clinic and Wansiri Hospital, offer fractional CO2 laser with combination therapies. These clinics treat thousands annually, balancing deep resurfacing and safer healing with local expertise to protect Asian skin tones from pigmentation.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand praise CO2 laser for fading severe acne scars after 3–5 sessions. Many highlight careful pigmentation management and recommend clinics with English-speaking dermatologists for clear treatment plans and safer results.

Is CO2 laser treatment in Thailand painful?

CO2 laser treatment in Thailand involves some discomfort, mostly a stinging burn felt during the 25–30 minute session. Clinics use hospital-grade numbing cream and cold air cooling to keep pain manageable. Post-treatment, skin feels like a strong sunburn for about 7 days during healing.

  • Numbing cream: Hospital-grade topical cream applied 30 minutes before treatment.
  • Cooling: Cold air used during procedure to reduce burning sensation.
  • Duration: Procedure takes around 25–30 minutes per session.
  • Recovery: Skin appears red and sunburnt for about 7 days post-treatment.
  • Post-care: Ice packs and careful monitoring ease discomfort 1–2 hours after.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics in Bangkok like ID Clinic and Wansiri Hospital emphasise proper numbing and cooling, making pain manageable for most. Most patients say peak discomfort happens after the session, not during. Planning for downtime without makeup aligns with local patient advice.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report discomfort as a burning sting rather than sharp pain. Proper numbing and cooling keep it bearable. Many prepare ice packs for soothing after the procedure and expect redness like a strong sunburn for a week.

What is typically included in the CO2 laser treatment package in Thailand?

CO2 laser treatment packages in Thailand usually include 3–4 sessions of skin resurfacing with topical numbing, post-procedure creams, and free follow-up visits for wound healing and pain advice. Each session lasts 20–45 minutes and requires no hospital stay.

  • Procedure type: Non-surgical CO2 laser resurfacing focused on scar and skin improvement.
  • Anaesthesia: Local or topical numbing cream applied before treatment for comfort.
  • Recovery support: Post-laser creams and detailed care instructions included.
  • Follow-up: Free visits to check healing and advise on pain management.
  • Recovery time: Mild sunburn-like skin for a few days; avoid sun exposure.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Multi-session bundles dominate Thailand’s CO2 laser market, as clinics focus on gradual scar improvement over months. Clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok and Wansiri Hospital support patients with follow-up visits and clear post-care guidance, which is crucial for long-term skin benefits but easy to overlook when booking.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the multi-visit approach for lasting results in Thailand. They advise bringing own sunscreen since high-SPF products aren’t included. Clear post-treatment instructions and English-speaking staff are key highlights for Australians.
