I would like to thank BIDC and also Bookimed for their professionalism
Hello everyone, like many other people before an operation, I wasn't feeling very well. The staff at the clinic immediately reassured and accompanied me. Believe me or not, I didn't feel a thing. The dental surgeon fitted the 2 implants in 40 minutes, and I had no infections whatsoever. My Bookimed advisor (Péguy) was with me from the start and is still with me today. I would like to thank BIDC and also Bookimed for their professionalism. Sylvain B.

What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it
What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it. My biggest fear was not understanding the treatment plan or feeling rushed, but that wasn’t the case at all. The dentist was very patient and took the time to explain each step to me in detail. It was reassuring. The overall organisation ran smoothly and the whole clinic team were professional and happy to answer my questions. Coordination via Bookimed simplified the whole process, which helped reduce the stress of having a medical appointment abroad. I left with clear information and a good overall impression.

The language barrier. It’s difficult to fully understand and explain our needs in detail

The wisdom teeth extraction was done so fast with utmost care
It is a clean hospital and the wisdom teeth extraction was done so fast with utmost care. The dentist and dental personnel can speak fluent English which is important for most people like I. For wisdom teeth extraction the cost was 20000 baht for 4 teeth( including medication and nurse charge), but it all depends if the teeth has impacted. I would highly recommend the clinic.

FAQ about Full-Arch Implant-Fixed Complete Dentures in Monolithic Zirconia (8 titanium implants) in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is the treatment process and timeline for Full-Arch Implant-Fixed Complete Dentures in Thailand?

Full-arch fixed complete dentures in Thailand require two separate trips. The first visit lasts 10–14 days for dental implant surgery and temporary teeth. Patients return 4–6 months later for a final 5–7 day trip for their permanent zirconia arch.

  1. Initial clinical phase: Includes 3D CBCT scans, planning, and surgical placement of 8 titanium implants.
  2. Provisional teeth: Temporary restorations are fitted within 3–10 days so patients can chew and smile.
  3. Osseointegration period: Implants fuse with the jawbone over 4–6 months while the patient is home.
  4. Final prosthetic phase: Surgeons take digital impressions and use CAD/CAM tech to craft the zirconia arch.
  5. Costs and savings: Pricing ranges from $9,000 to $15,000, saving up to 78% over Australia.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many clinics market same-day results. However, the 8-implant monolithic zirconia protocol is specifically designed for stability and durability. Clinics such as SOL Dental Clinic use a digital workflow with 3D scanning for a precise fit. This staged approach is safer for patients flying from Australia. It allows tissues to settle before the final heavy zirconia bridge is fixed.

Patient Consensus: Expect a staged treatment over several months rather than a single visit. Patients find that allowing time for healing and bite adjustments ensures the most comfortable long-term result.

Who is an ideal candidate for Full-Arch Implant-Fixed Complete Dentures in Thailand?

Ideal candidates for full-arch implant-fixed dentures in Thailand have significant tooth loss or terminal dentition. These patients typically choose monolithic zirconia over acrylic for its durability and natural appearance. Procedures at Bangkok and Chiang Mai centres often use eight titanium implants for a stable base.

  • Extensive tooth loss: This suits those missing most teeth or with failing existing teeth.
  • Bone density: This fits patients with enough jawbone to support eight implants without grafting.
  • Fixed solution: Ideal for people tired of slipping dentures who want non-removable teeth.
  • Health status: This requires good general health and treated gums for successful implant integration.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Australian patients look for All-on-4. However, choosing an 8-implant configuration in Thailand provides more stability for zirconia bridges. Zirconia is heavier than acrylic. Extra implants at clinics like Kitcha Dental Clinic reduce pressure on the jawbone. This setup often costs from $9,000 to $15,000, saving up to 78% compared to Australia.

Patient Consensus: Patients find this permanent full-arch solution transforms how they eat and improves self-confidence. They suggest planning for multiple visits to Thailand for healing and final bridge adjustments.

Why would an Australian patient choose 8 titanium implants over an All-on-4 procedure in Thailand?

Australian patients choose 8 titanium implants in Thailand for superior stability and force distribution across the jawbone. This approach uses more anchors than All-on-4. It reduces pressure on individual implants and provides a secure foundation for monolithic zirconia bridges. Patients can save up to 78% compared to average Australian costs.

  • Bite force distribution: Spreading pressure across 8 anchors protects the jawbone from uneven loading.
  • Structural redundancy: Extra implants provide a safety net if one anchor fails to osseointegrate.
  • Premium materials: Clinics like Kitcha Dental Clinic use original Straumann materials for better longevity.
  • Customisation: Surgeons use 3D scanning and CAD/CAM to tailor the 8-implant bridge anatomy.
  • Bone loss management: More implants offer a robust foundation for patients with significant bone atrophy.

Bookimed Expert Insight: All-on-4 is often marketed as a standard fix. However, high-volume Thai clinics like Kitcha Dental Clinic often recommend 8 implants for monolithic zirconia arches. Kitcha Dental Clinic serves 10,000+ patients annually. Zirconia is significantly heavier than acrylic. Extra anchors help the rigid bridge remain stable and comfortable over decades rather than years.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand often choose 8 implants as a conservative, heavy-duty solution. They want their new teeth to feel as sturdy as possible. They value a one-trip plan that avoids return visits if a single implant requires a backup.

What are the benefits of choosing Monolithic Zirconia for dental implants in Thailand?

Monolithic zirconia dental implants in Thailand offer exceptional durability and natural aesthetics at a fraction of Australian costs. This single-block material resists chipping. It provides strength for full-arch restorations and is biocompatible for patients with metal sensitivities. Thai centres use CAD/CAM technology for precise, rapid fabrication.

  • Superior durability: Monolithic construction uses one solid block to prevent chipping or ceramic fractures.
  • Natural aesthetics: High translucency mimics real tooth enamel for a seamless, polychromatic appearance.
  • Biocompatible material: Non-metallic and bio-inert properties reduce gum inflammation and bacterial build-up.
  • Cost efficiency: Procedures cost $9,000 to $15,000, saving Australians up to 78%.
  • Specialised technology: Clinics like SOL Dental use 3D scanning and CAD/CAM for faster turnarounds.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand’s leading dental hubs, such as Kitcha Dental Clinic, have operated for 30+ years. High-volume centres there often serve 10,000+ patients annually. This scale allows clinics to stock premium Swiss Straumann or American Dentsply Sirona materials. Prices remain much lower than Australian private practices.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand praise the fracture resistance of solid zirconia compared to layered ceramics. They recommend confirming the digital workflow and requesting certificates for all materials. This help ensures easy follow-up care with dentists back in Australia.

What is included in typical dental packages for Full-Arch Implant-Fixed Complete Dentures in Thailand?

Full-arch dental packages in Thailand typically include 8 titanium implants, a monolithic zirconia bridge, 3D CBCT scans, and CAD/CAM manufacturing. Most bundles cover surgical fees, local anaesthesia, and temporary teeth. Procedures cost from $9,000 to $15,000. This saves Australians up to 78% compared to local prices.

  • Diagnostic imaging: Includes initial consultations and 3D CBCT scans for precise implant placement.
  • Implant components: Covers 8 titanium posts per arch and all necessary connecting abutments.
  • Final prosthesis: Provides a durable monolithic zirconia bridge, often produced using CAD/CAM technology.
  • Clinical fees: All surgical fees, nursing support, and local anaesthesia are generally bundled.
  • Travel assistance: Selected clinics like SOL Dental provide airport transfers and help with accommodation.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand's leading clinics often serve as providers for premium brands like Straumann. Kitcha Dental Clinic and SmileBox maintain this status. This helps patients receive original materials and international warranties. It also provides a safety net for Australians who may need future maintenance at home.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the all-in-one bundles in Thailand that include temporary teeth. This ensures they never leave without a smile. They recommend confirming in writing whether bone grafting or extractions are included. These items often incur extra costs.

What are Full-Arch Implant-Fixed Complete Dentures using 8 implants in Thailand?

Full-arch fixed complete dentures in Thailand use eight titanium implants to support a permanent monolithic zirconia bridge. This high-stability solution restores an entire jaw with non-removable teeth. Costs range from $9,000 to $15,000. This offers 63% savings compared to the $32,500 Australian average.

  • Enhanced stability: Uses 8 titanium implants per arch for maximum support and bite force distribution.
  • Premium materials: Clinics such as SmileBox Dental Clinic use original Straumann products for long-term reliability.
  • Monolithic zirconia: The bridge is custom-milled from solid zirconia. This provides superior durability and aesthetics.
  • Digital workflow: Clinics like SOL Dental use CAD/CAM tech and 3D scans for precise placement.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While 8 implants offer the most secure fit, this procedure often requires two trips to Thailand. The first trip focuses on surgery and temporary teeth. The final zirconia bridge is typically fitted months later after the jawbone heals. Major centres like Kitcha Dental Clinic serve 10,000+ patients annually. They follow this staged protocol to reach 98% success rates.

Patient Consensus: Treatment in Thailand is a major reconstruction rather than a quick fix. Patients suggest confirming if packages include temporary teeth. They also recommend planning for long-term bite adjustments back home.
