Prof. Dr. Salih Pay is a rheumatology specialist and professor. He has been a professor since 2008. He graduated from GATA Gülhane Military Medical Faculty in 1987. He completed his internal medicine residency at GATA in 1995. He finished rheumatology training at Hacettepe University from 1996 to 1998. He served as an assistant professor at GATA from 1999 to 2000. He became an associate professor in 2000. He conducted experimental research on chemokines and chemokine receptors at the UC San Diego – Stein Research Center from 2001 to 2002. He has published nearly 100 scientific articles.
He currently practices at Koru Ankara Hospital. His focus is on rheumatic diseases. These include rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, vasculitis, Behçet's disease, gout, and osteoporosis.

The doctor is a medical professional who completed their primary medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University between 2006 and 2012. Following this, the doctor underwent specialized training at the Ankara Dr. Sami Ulus Training and Research Hospital from 2019 to 2023.
