How Much Does PET-MRI Cost in Turkey?

PET-MRI in Turkey typically costs from $1,100 to $1,500. The price depends on the diagnostic protocol and the body area covered. In the US, this diagnostic costs around $4,200 on average. Patients save about 69% by choosing Turkey for this imaging. Many clinics in cities like Istanbul and Ankara offer this technology for oncology or neurology cases.

  • Technological protocol: Most centers use this for high-precision oncology or neurology scans.
  • Clinical setting: Leading JCI-accredited hospitals in Istanbul often have the newest equipment.
  • Specialized tracers: The radiopharmaceutical used for the scan can influence final costs.
  • Additional services: Many facilities bundle the procedure with VIP transfers and interpretation.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bundled diagnostic programs often provide better value than booking a single scan. Packages start around $1,900 at institutions like Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale Hospital. This price typically covers the PET-MRI scan plus VIP airport-clinic transfers and translation. Leading centers like Anadolu Medical Center maintain affiliations with Johns Hopkins Medicine. These partnerships allow for international-standard reporting at a lower price point. Medipol Mega University Hospital treats over 1,000,000 patients annually using modern imaging systems. Choosing a high-volume center may provide access to more experienced radiologists and faster results.

I liked the service of the staff
I liked the service of the staff. The friendliness of the doctors. Cleanliness of the clinic, amenities. Very convenient, informative and fast transfer.
The food in the restaurant at the clinic is very good. The staff is attentive.
Communication by translators after the reception. Since November 14, we have not been able to obtain a report from a pediatric oncologist. Today is already November 23rd, and there is no answer. Only the translator gets in touch every once in a while and says that “tomorrow” they will tell everything.
