I wholeheartedly recommend the Saluss clinic to anyone seeking high-quality dental care in a professional and accommodating environment
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a remarkable dental clinic where I underwent the installation of six ceramic veneers. My experience at the clinic was nothing short of exceptional, as the entire process was completed swiftly and seamlessly within a week. This included consultations, dental cleaning, whitening, and other essential procedures. I was particularly impressed by the clinic's commitment to providing outstanding customer service. They organized transportation from my hotel for each visit, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Moreover, I was accompanied by a diligent coordinator, Dilan, she was incredibly attentive and responsive to all my inquiries. Dilan's assistance proved invaluable in navigating the entire process. I must extend my sincerest gratitude to my dentist, Beyza, whose expertise and precision were evident throughout the treatment. Her meticulous approach and dedication to her craft resulted in a flawless outcome, for which I am truly grateful. The entire staff at the Saluss clinic demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a commitment to providing top-notch service. The ambiance of the clinic was welcoming and comfortable, further enhancing my overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Saluss clinic to anyone seeking high-quality dental care in a professional and accommodating environment.

The results are incredible, no more gap and my teeth are so much whiter
I wanted to reduce my gap and cover my yellow teeth. I contacted Bookimed and spoke with Sherif. He was absolutely fantastic!! I honestly cannot express how kind and resourceful he was. I asked to speak to a dentist and he organised the call. There was not a single question thst I had that he didn't find the answer to it. I didn't feel any pressure at all to make up my mind which was really important to me. He sent me links to various clinics and Kariso was the one I choose. The entire team at Kariso were absolutely

"I chose the country and the clinic for treatment for a long time, and I am glad that I was not mistaken
If in my youth I had been given dental treatment by such specialists whom I met at the DENTAGLOBAL clinic (Turkey, Izmir), then I would not have had fear and constant anxiety during treatment, and I could have avoided the problems that I had, and over time, worsened due to the fact that not all dentists performed the treatment correctly and efficiently. But my beliefs, formed as a result of my previous negative experience, that dental treatment is painful, not very high quality and not always honest, changed dramatically after the first stage of treatment at the DENTAGLOBAL clinic, during which the implantation of the upper jaw was performed along All-on-4 system, as well as 2 implants in the lower jaw. I chose the country and the clinic for treatment for a long time, and I am glad that I was not mistaken. I am grateful for the high professionalism, attentiveness, friendliness of the doctors who, after the diagnosis, determined the optimal plan for my treatment and operated on me - Mert Yuce, Meltem Yuce, as well as the doctor for temporary prosthetics - Alev Mutlu. The DENTAGLOBAL clinic provided a quality service at a good price. The cost of treatment included: diagnostics, consultations, implantation, repeated X-ray, all necessary medicines, temporary prosthetics, hotel accommodation, transfer airport-hotel-airport and hotel-clinic-hotel, etc. At the same time, some of the listed items were provided free of charge . It is necessary to note the absolute transparency and honesty of the management and employees of the clinic when compiling the price list of treatment, as well as the provision by the clinic of significant discounts. In the clinic during my treatment there were many patients from different countries. Due to the fact that the logistics were at a high level, the treatment was carried out comfortably and without delay. A very important factor during treatment is the patient's communication with doctors and other specialists, during which not only the main, but also minor, but no less important, details of the treatment are clarified. I do not know Turkish and do not speak English to the extent that I can tell the doctors everything they need, as well as understand the much needed feedback. But thanks to the translator provided by the clinic, Lyudmila, who received her university education in Turkey and is fluent in Turkish, I had a complete understanding with the doctors and with the clinic staff. Lyudmila constantly accompanied me in the clinic: during all procedures, consultations, during the entire operation, which lasted more than 3 hours, as well as during other organizational issues. On her recommendation, I saw, in my free time from treatment, the ancient city of Ephesus (located near Izmir), which is one of the seven wonders of the world of the ancient world. I thank all the clinic staff, drivers, my curator Ezgi for their attention and kindness. In 6 months, the second - the final stage of my treatment - the installation of zirconium crowns and veneers will take place. I look forward to this stage, the results of which I will also share. I recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to do everything qualitatively, get a good result and feel comfortable during the treatment. Many thanks to the BOOKIMED international platform for providing effective, free of charge assistance in finding a clinic and organizing treatment. Special thanks to Evgeny Kozlov and coordinator Olga Tarnavskaya. Thank you for your work and for being you!

Dental implant is perfect for replacing missing or badly damaged teeth and give long-lasting support. Veneers are great for cosmetic fixes like minor misalignments and discoloration. Patients can use both together: dental implants for the lost teeth and a dental veneer for each to improve the look of the rest.

Can You Get Veneer Procedures with Missing Teeth?

Dental veneers are unsuitable for replacing lost teeth as they cover and enhance existing teeth. Instead, other dental treatment kinds are appropriate for missing teeth:

  1. Dental Implants. Replace gap teeth from the root with a post and a crown.

  2. Dental Bridges. Use crowns and a false tooth to fill the gap from lost teeth.

  3. Partial Dentures. Removable appliances that replace one or several absesnt teeth.

Combining these options with dental veneers can improve functionality and aesthetics for comprehensive treatment and a perfect smile.

Safety and Risks

Getting dental veneers is generally considered safe due to several key factors:

  • Non-Invasive. The procedure involves minimal removal of tooth enamel, making it less invasive than other dental surgeries.

  • Biocompatible Materials. Veneers are made from materials like porcelain or composite resin, which are compatible with body tissues and rarely cause reactions.

The 10-year study found that ceramic veneers last longer and fail less often than direct resin composite veneers. Of the 1,459 veneers analyzed, 71.5% were direct composite and 28.5% were ceramic. Ceramic veneers had better success rates, with fewer repairs neededand higher survival rates.

  • Technological Advances. Modern aesthetic dentistry technology, including digital imaging and precise manufacturing, enhances the safety and accuracy of the veneer placement process in order to achieve a perfect smile. The Turkish Dental Association rigorously monitors the standards.

Is It Safe To Get Veneers Treatment Done in Turkey?

Specifically, it's safe to get veneers in Turkey. Here's why:

Risk of Infection

The risks associated with getting veneers in Turkey, such as sensitivity or mild irritation, are typically low and temporary. A meta-analysis conducted by Hisham M. Al-Shorman and Layla A. Abu-Naba'a (2024) suggests that dental veneers have a positive impact on overall periodontal health

Aftercare and Maintenance

After getting dental veneers in Turkey, a patient must follow proper aftercare to ensure the longevity and health of their new Hollywood smile with healthy teeth. Here’s a helpful guide on managing aftercare once you return home.

Oral Hygiene

Brush your teeth at least twice a day with a non-abrasive toothpaste, floss daily, and use an antibacterial mouthwash to reduce bacteria and prevent gum disease.

Avoiding Damage

To prevent chipping or damaging the veneers, don’t bite into hard foods such as ice, nuts, and hard candies. Also, avoid sticky foods that could potentially dislodge the veneers. If you grind your teeth at night, consider wearing a nightguard to protect your veneers from excessive wear and damage.

Regular Dental Check-Ups

Schedule regular check-ups with your local dentist to monitor the condition of your composite or porcelain veneers and overall dental health. Inform your dentist about your dental veneers and provide any relevant information from your dentist in Turkey.

Addressing Sensitivity

Some patients may experience tooth sensitivity after getting veneers in Turkey. If needed, use toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth, and consult your dentist if sensitivity persists or becomes bothersome.

Avoiding Staining Substances

Limit the consumption of foods and beverages that can stain your new teeth, such as coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. Rinse your mouth with water after consuming these substances. This is especially pertinent if you get composite veneers since porcelain veneers in Turkey are more stain-resistant.

How Many Veneers Are Enough to Change My Smile?

The number of veneers required to change a smile depends on several factors, including dental health, the desired improvements, and the visibility of the patient's teeth when smiling. Typically, 6 to 8 veneers on the upper front teeth are sufficient for most patients, as these are the most prominent when smiling. However, for those with a wider smile or seeking more uniformity, additional veneers may be necessary.

Do Patient Teeth Get Shaved for Dental Veneers in Turkey?

Yes, teeth are typically shaved down slightly for the placement of traditional dental veneers in Turkey.

Here's why:

  • Shaving creates room for the veneers to fit smoothly over the teeth without looking bulky.

  • Removing a small enamel layer allows for a seamless transition between the veneer and the natural tooth.

  • The process roughens the tooth surface, which helps the veneer adhere better.

The amount of enamel removed is usually minimal, about 0.5 millimeters, which matches the thickness of the veneer. For ultra-thin veneers like Lumineers, less or no shaving may be required.

How Long Do Dental Veneers Last from Turkey?

Like those from anywhere else, the lifespan of teeth veneers from Turkey largely depends on the material used and how well the patient takes care of them.

Here's a general idea of how long different types of Turkey veneers can last:

Porcelain Veneers

These dental veneers are known for their durability and can last anywhere from 10 to 15 years and sometimes even up to 20 years with proper care. Porcelain resists stains and scratches, which contributes to its longevity.

Composite Veneers

Composite veneers usually last about 5 to 7 years. They are more prone to staining and may require more frequent maintenance or replacement.

Lumineers

Lumineers can last over 10 years. However, their thinner structure might make them slightly less durable than traditional porcelain Turkey veneers under certain conditions.

Zirconia Veneers

Due to the strength of the material, zirconia dental veneers are extremely durable, with a lifespan similar to or even longer than traditional porcelain veneers. With proper dental care, zirconia Turkey veneers can last up to 15-20 years.

E-max Veneers

E-max veneers are made from strong lithium disilicate ceramic, lasting 10 to 15 years or up to 20 years with proper care. They resist chipping and cracking, and their high translucency mimics natural tooth enamel. Minimal tooth reduction is needed, making them a durable and aesthetically pleasing option.

Type of Turkey Veneer Expected Lifespan
Porcelain Veneers 10-15 years, up to 20 with exceptional care
Composite Veneers 5-7 years
Lumineers 10+ years
Zirconia Veneers 15-20 years
E-max Veneers 10-20 years

What’s the Difference Between Veneers and Crowns?

Dental veneers in Turkey cover only the front part of the tooth and are primarily used for cosmetic changes such as improving the appearance of discolored, slightly misaligned, or chipped teeth. In contrast to teeth veneers, crowns cover the entire tooth surface and are used for severely damaged teeth, providing structural support and restoring function and appearance.

What’s the Best Way to Take Care of Turkey Dental Veneers?

To maximize the lifespan of dental veneers, regardless of the type, it's essential to maintain good oral hygiene practices. This includes

  • regular brushing and flossing;

  • avoiding excessive force (like biting on complex objects);

  • visiting a dentist for regular check-ups and cleanings.

❗Factors like individual bite force, dietary habits, and whether the person grinds their teeth can also influence how long a patient`s teeth veneers will last.

Could My Veneers Come Off?

Yes, Turkey teeth veneers can come off, though it's rare with proper care. Here are some factors and tips:

  • Factors that can cause veneers to come off:

    • Improper bonding

    • Biting on hard objects

    • Teeth grinding

  • They are designed to last for many years with proper care

Are There Any Alternatives to Veneers?

The perfect smile dental tourism alternatives to veneers in Turkey include:

- dental bonding, which uses tooth-colored resin to fix chips and discoloration, and professional teeth whitening to brighten stained teeth;

- braces or clear aligners can straighten teeth, while dental crowns cap and restore damaged teeth;

-contouring and reshaping can also adjust the shape of teeth for a better look. These options offer different ways to improve a smile without veneers in Turkey.

Do Veneers Ruin Your Teeth?

When done by a professional dentist, veneers in Turkey don't ruin teeth. The dentist removes a tiny bit of enamel to fit the veneers properly, which is minimal and necessary. Good oral hygiene and regular check-ups keep both the veneers and natural teeth in great shape.

Conclusion

Turkey veneers are custom-made shells that improve the look of teeth by fixing stains, chips, gaps, and minor misalignments. Turkey is a popular spot for veneers because the treatments are much cheaper—50-90% less than in the USA and UK. For instance, most expensive veneers in Turkey cost $300 per tooth, while in the USA, they cost $900-$2,500. Types of Turkey teeth veneers include E-max, laminate, Lumineers, and zirconia.

Veneers cover the front of the tooth for cosmetic improvements, while crowns cover the entire tooth for severe damage. Usually, 6 to 8 veneers are enough to transform a smile. With proper care, veneers in Turkey last a long time.
