Erkan Karatas

Prof. Dr. Erkan Karatas is an ENT specialist and surgical oncologist at Atlas University Hospital. He has contributed to 103 scientific articles and performs skull base surgery and hearing restoration. Dr. Karatas treats complex disorders of the ear, nose, and throat.

Specialization and Surgical Focus

Dr. Karatas performs surgeries for hearing loss, including cochlear implant placement and stapedectomy. He also treats larynx, thyroid, and tongue cancers. Additionally, he uses endoscopic methods for lateral skull base and inner ear procedures.

Karatas treats sleep apnea and performs corrective operations like septoplasty and tonsillectomy. He also provides maxillofacial surgery, where he carries out orthognathic and jaw cyst operations.
