Assoc. Prof. Yavuz Selim YILDIRIM, M.D. was born in 1980. After graduating from İstanbul School of Medicine, İstanbul University, in 2005, he completed his residency at Haseki Teaching and Research Hospital, Turkish Ministry of Health, in 2010. He was awarded the title of “Associate Professor” at School of Medicine, Bezmialem Foundation University in 2017. He passed European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (18.11.2011) and received FEBORL-HNS (Fellow of the European Board of ORL-HNS). Also, he is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in which only a limited number of physicians took part in Turkey and around the world.
Dr. has a Master's Degree in Hospital and Health Institution Management and has worked in many institutions, such as the Ministry of Health Haseki Training and Research Hospital and Bezmialem University. He has attended many international conferences and won awards, and has research papers published. His fields of expertise include Nose Aesthetics, Cochlear Implant, Hearing Losses, Ear Infections, Balance Disorders, Nasal Allergies, Nasal Polyposis, Cancer Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, Voice Disorders, Thyroid Nodules, Sinusitis, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Tonsil and Adenoid Diseases and Snoring, Sleep Apnea Surgery. He has had international experiences in the US at Johns Hopkins University, Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, Boston Children's Hospital, Tufts University, and Cleveland Clinic.
