Johannes Grisar

Univ. Prof. Dr. Johannes Grisar is a leading Austrian specialist in rheumatology and internal medicine, internationally recognized for his expertise in inflammatory joint diseases, autoimmune disorders, and connective tissue diseases. With decades of experience as both a clinician and researcher, he has significantly contributed to advancing the understanding and treatment of chronic rheumatic conditions.

He studied medicine at the University of Vienna, graduating in the 1990s, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of Vienna.
