Prof. Dr. Kivanc Derya Peker is a Professor of General Surgery specializing in gastrointestinal surgery and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery. His clinical expertise includes the surgical treatment of pancreatic, liver, biliary tract, gastric, and colorectal diseases, with a particular focus on advanced oncological surgery, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

With approximately 20 years of surgical experience, he has worked at leading tertiary referral centers in Türkiye, contributed to the establishment of hepatopancreatobiliary surgery clinics, and played an active role in developing multidisciplinary surgical programs. His experience includes the management of complex, high-volume surgical cases and the training and mentoring of general and gastrointestinal surgery specialists.
