Dr. Luis Pavajeau is a plastic surgeon with more than 30 years of practice in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He won four awards from the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Pavajeau treats complex reconstructive cases, including facial restoration for survivors of acid attacks.
Specialization and Surgical Focus
Dr. Pavajeau performs procedures that require precise planning, such as secondary rhinoplasty and breast explantation. He performs breast implant removal by extracting both the implant and the surrounding capsule. This tissue is sent for pathology and chemical testing to rule out anaplastic large cell lymphoma – a rare cancer of the immune system. Dr. Pavajeau then reconstructs the breast using the patient's own fat and existing tissue.
