Muhsin Yilmaz

Dr. Mahmut Muhsin YILMAZ was born in Adana. He graduated from TOBB Osmaniye Science High School in 2007 as the top student of his class. During high school, he won numerous awards in regional and national knowledge competitions. In the 2007 Student Selection and Placement Examination (SSPE), he ranked first in Turkey in the fields of Mathematics, Verbal, and Equal Weight. From 2007 to 2014, he studied medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (in English).

In 2015, he ranked 6th in Turkey in the Clinical and Basic Success Rankings of the Medical Specialty Exam. From 2015 to 2020, he successfully completed his specialization training at Hacettepe University Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic.

He conducted his specialization thesis on 'Nerve Regeneration,' which was supported under the TUBITAK 1001 program. His specialization thesis won an award at the 2021 National Plastic Surgery Congress. He obtained his Board Certification in 2019. From 2020 to 2022, he served as a specialist doctor at Bursa City Hospital.

He has published studies in national and international journals. He is a member of various national and international associations including the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association, the Cleft Lip and Palate Association, and The International Society of Plastic Surgery.
