Dr. Marc Ulrich Becher is an interventional cardiologist and heart failure specialist. He provides operations such as coronary angiography, radiofrequency ablation with 3D mapping, carotid angioplasty and stenting, among others.

Non-invasive Diagnostics:
- ECG, Holter ECG, stress ECG (ergometry)

- Heart ultrasound (echocardiography) including duplex/color Doppler, 3D/4D echo, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, contrast-enhanced echocardiography
- Cardiac MRI and CT
Invasive Diagnostics and Therapy:
- 2 digital flat-panel left heart catheter labs with approx. 3,000–4,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per year
- Coronary angiographies, intravascular pressure measurements to assess the hemodynamic relevance of coronary stenosis, PTCA, stent implantation (PCI), drug-eluting balloon (DEB), lesion preparation in calcified stenoses using intravascular lithotripsy (shockwave lithotripsy), rotablation
- Intravascular imaging with intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) & optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Recanalization of chronically occluded coronary arteries (CTO recanalization)
- 24-hour catheter readiness for acute heart attacks/coronary syndromes
- Outpatient heart catheter diagnostics
- Catheter-based aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in collaboration with nearby university hospitals
- Structural catheter-based procedures for AV valves (mitral and tricuspid valves)
- PFO and left atrial appendage closure
- Implantations (about 75 procedures per year) and management/monitoring
