Nikolaos Spernovasilis

Dr. Nikolaos Spernovasilis is a specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the German Medical Institute (GMI). He is a faculty member of the European Committee on Infection Control (EUCIC). Dr. Spernovasilis also serves on the ESCMID Study Group for Antimicrobial Stewardship.

Infectious Disease Specialization

Dr. Spernovasilis treats bacterial, viral, and chronic infectious conditions. He also coordinates medical check-ups for men and women. His approach integrates antimicrobial stewardship to improve patient safety and treatment results. This stewardship involves systematic efforts to ensure the correct antibiotic choice and dosage to prevent drug resistance.
