Prof. Dr. Erdem Akbal is a Gastroenterology Specialist at Memorial Şişli and Memorial Bahçelievler Hospitals in Istanbul. She served as a Research Assistant in Internal Medicine at Hacettepe from 2016 to 2020. She then worked as a Specialist at Erdem Hospital in 2021.
