IVF Support Package: Advanced Blood Purification to Reduce Inflammation (Double Filtration Plasmapheresis, DFPP)
This package is designed for patients undergoing IVF treatment who are seeking a supportive approach to reduce systemic inflammation and immune-mediated activity that may affect reproductive health, egg quality, and embryo implantation.
Please note that Modern Apheresis (Nowoczesna Afereza) does not provide IVF procedures, ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, or embryology services.
We provide Double Filtration Plasmapheresis (DFPP), an advanced blood purification therapy that some patients choose as a supportive anti-inflammatory procedure before or during an IVF protocol, in coordination with their fertility specialist.
IVF success may be influenced by multiple factors, including embryo quality, uterine receptivity, hormonal status, immune system activity, inflammation, coagulation status, metabolic health, and underlying autoimmune or inflammatory conditions, as well as other factors. Some patients undergoing IVF have a history of autoimmune diseases, elevated inflammatory markers, antiphospholipid antibodies, thyroid autoimmunity, endometriosis, or other immune-related conditions that may require a more individualized treatment strategy, such as blood purification via DFPP.
The core of this package is Double Filtration Plasmapheresis (DFPP), an advanced blood purification therapy that selectively filters the patient's plasma through specialized membranes.
DFPP may help reduce circulating immune complexes, pathogenic autoantibodies, inflammatory mediators, excess LDL cholesterol, heavy metals, selected toxins, and other substances that may contribute to systemic inflammation and immune activation. By reducing the burden of selected circulating inflammatory and immune-related factors, DFPP may support a more favorable systemic environment as part of a comprehensive fertility treatment plan managed by the patient’s IVF doctor.
DFPP is not an IVF treatment and does not guarantee pregnancy, implantation, or improved fertility outcomes.
At Modern Apheresis (Nowoczesna Afereza), all procedures are performed using state-of-the-art European apheresis technology and sterile single-use filtration systems. Each patient receives a personalized DFPP plan based on medical history, reproductive history, laboratory findings, current medications, IVF timeline, and treatment goals. Throughout every procedure, patients remain under continuous supervision of experienced physicians and qualified medical staff to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care.
Package Includes
Before your arrival, our medical team will review your medical documentation, laboratory results, reproductive history, previous IVF history where relevant, and current IVF protocol. You will receive an online consultation with a physician experienced in apheresis therapies to determine whether DFPP may be appropriate for your individual situation and timing. In some cases we will need to consult with your IVF doctor.
Upon arrival in Warsaw, comprehensive blood testing will be performed. Following laboratory testing, a second consultation will be conducted to discuss the results and finalize your DFPP treatment plan. The following day, you will undergo one DFPP procedure.
Suggested Schedule
Prior to arrival, online consultations and review of medical documentation are completed remotely.
Day 1: Arrival in Warsaw.
Day 2 early morning: Comprehensive blood testing.
Day 3: DFPP procedure.
NOTE: The timing of DFPP in relation to ovarian stimulation, embryo transfer, or other IVF steps should be coordinated with the patient’s fertility specialist. Our clinic provides DFPP only and does not make decisions regarding IVF medication protocols, embryo transfer timing, or reproductive procedures.
Optional Services
Additional DFPP or LDL apheresis procedures may be arranged if medically appropriate. Hotel accommodation, airport transfers, and translation services are available upon request but are not included in the package price.
Important Information
IVF outcomes depend on many medical, reproductive, embryological, genetic, hormonal, and lifestyle-related factors. DFPP is not an IVF treatment and does not guarantee pregnancy, implantation, or improved fertility outcomes. Treatment recommendations are made individually following a thorough medical evaluation and, when appropriate, in coordination with the patient’s fertility specialist. DFPP should be considered as a supportive procedure within a broader fertility treatment plan and does not replace standard reproductive medicine care.
