Dr. Benjun Du: more details about the clinic

China, Guangzhou

Dr. Benjun Du is a specialist practice located in Guangzhou, China. The clinic operates within a hospital-based setting for surgical facial feminization and craniofacial contouring. Care follows a personalized planning approach that prioritizes natural aesthetics and balanced facial proportions.

Clinical Expertise and Experience

Dr. Benjun Du leads the practice as a senior plastic surgeon and doctoral supervisor. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in complex skeletal procedures. The clinic reports several significant activity markers:

  • Over 12,000 completed surgical cases
  • More than 25,000 hours of surgical experience
  • 31 academic publications in research and innovation
  • Chief of Plastic Surgery status at a public tertiary hospital

These figures reflect a long-standing focus on bone structure refinement and soft tissue adjustments. Dr. Du oversees all surgical planning. Every procedure follows a detailed structural analysis.

Facial Feminization and Contouring

The clinic focuses on Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and craniofacial bone reshaping. Specialists target the forehead, brow, cheekbones, jawline, and chin to soften masculine features. Each plan begins with a facial bone assessment to evaluate how different areas interact.

Craniofacial contouring methods include:

  • Zygomatic inward rotation to reduce cheekbone width
  • Jaw angle reduction to soften the lower face
  • Mandibular osteotomy for refined jawline shaping
  • Chin reshaping and advancement for profile balance
  • Forehead and brow bone contouring

Surgery takes place in a hospital environment in Guangzhou. This means patients receive full anesthesia support and professional nursing care. The clinic also offers body feminization options like breast augmentation and waist sculpting.

Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery

Beyond feminization, the clinic offers reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries. These procedures address functional and cosmetic concerns of the skull and facial skeleton. Specialists perform orthognathic surgery to correct jaw alignment and rhinoplasty for nasal reshaping.

Available procedures include:

  • Tracheal shave to reduce the Adam's apple
  • Nasal hump removal and tip refinement
  • Facelift surgery for skin and soft tissue rejuvenation
  • Fat grafting for volume restoration
  • Facial masculinization for structural enhancement

The team uses 3D visualization to guide facial contouring plans. This technology helps surgeons and patients see how bone structure shapes the final result.

Diagnostic Technology

Accurate planning relies on high-resolution imaging of the facial skeleton. The clinic uses Skull CT scans as the primary diagnostic tool for every bone-related surgery. These scans let Dr. Du create precise surgical maps for jaw, cheekbone, and forehead modifications. Detailed imaging calculates bone changes while sparing vital nerves and structures.

Services for International Patients

The clinic manages a structured journey for patients traveling to Guangzhou. The process begins with a Free Facial Bone Assessment conducted remotely. Patients submit three photos – front view and both 45-degree angles – to start their facial analysis. This step allows the team to develop a preliminary plan before travel.

Support services for travelers include:

  • Online consultations with WhatsApp support
  • Travel assistance for local visits and stay arrangements
  • Hospital coordination for surgery and immediate recovery
  • Remote aftercare via online communication

After returning home, patients continue follow-up through remote channels. Doctors review healing progress, incision sites, and swelling through digital updates. This ongoing monitoring helps manage recovery from abroad. The team explains all hospital and nursing arrangements during the initial consultation.

We had one last dim sum breakfast at Dian Dou De (点都德) before leaving Guangzhou, and it was a satisfying way to finish our couple trip. After all the shopping, walking and eating, another round of Cantonese dim sum felt like a fitting final meal before heading to the airport. There was plenty to choose from, including familiar favourites such as har gow, siew mai and fluffy char siew buns. That variety is part of what makes dim sum so enjoyable. You can put together a meal with different little dishes to share, although deciding what to choose is always the difficult part! For us, this breakfast was a chance to enjoy a little more of Guangzhou’s food before going home. Dim sum is something we enjoy, and having it in Guangzhou made it a fitting way to round off the trip. It was nice to have a final meal together before turning our attention to the journey home. If you enjoy traditional Cantonese dim sum, Dian Dou De is worth considering. The selection gives you plenty of options, whether you already have your usual favourites in mind or want to add something different to the table. We were glad we made time for this breakfast. A satisfying final food stop and a lovely way to close our Guangzhou couple trip.

Seven of us had lunch here in early September. The food here is tasty and prices are very reasonable. Service staffs are friendly and attentive. Worth visiting while in Guangzhou

Diandude is one of those old-school dim sum spots the locals swear by.... according to my Didi driver. The restaurant is huge, spanning multiple floors, and the portions are generous - good for 3 to 4 people per order. Service was attentive and polite throughout, even during peak hours. The food was solid and classic: well-executed dim sum.

I’ve got two words, absolutely disgusting! But im not gonna discount the fact that the food was actually decent and the staff were actually very sweet and polite. So why disgusting? We saw a god damm roach chilling and crawling around our dining area. I paid the full bill before i showed the cashier the video of the roach. Its not about getting a free meal/ discounted meal for me… it’s about STANDARDS and this place clearly does not have it!!

We came in a group of 8 on 14.1.2026 @ 8.06am to try the dim sum. Has been rated by many influencers/establishments as one of the best dim sum in Guangzhou. Food is definitely tasty and delicious and live up to expectation. But the service by the team lead was a total let down. When asked for why our order was taking such a long time, the team lead answered that they don't have noodle today. You should have informed us during our initial order rather than asking us to wait. She even got the cheek to tell us off to go other branch to eat. Luckily her staff managed the situation well.
