My biggest worry was centered on one of the 2-3 fibroids I had. The surgeon and the entire team at the clinic were great, which put me at ease. The procedure itself was smooth. I am now in the early recovery phase and I feel good, though I do tire easily, as is expected. It’s still too early to know what the final results will be, but I am optimistic. I can’t really comment on the price clarity as I wasn't sure about the details. From a medical and care standpoint, everything was handled very professionally by the staff.
The doctor was patient and heard all my needs. He couldnot have done more. Bookmed helped me get the best options. The process was so smooth
Maybe, letting customer know there will be additional cost other than the ones quotated. We paid for so many tests not covered.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hisar Hospital Intercontinental in Istanbul for the high professionalism, attentiveness and care shown at every stage of my treatment. I underwent hysteroscopic removal of several endometrial polyps, including one large one measuring 3 cm. Everything went perfectly - from the initial consultation to the surgery and post-operative care. Special thanks to my doctor - Op. Dr Berna Buse Kobal. She inspired confidence from the very beginning, explained everything calmly and clearly, acted very carefully and confidently. After the operation I felt great, without pain or discomfort. The nurses and all the staff of the clinic were very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere in the hospital is clean, modern, comfortable and absolutely safe. I would also like to thank Julia, a Bookimed employee, who helped me with counselling and organising the trip. We made the decision literally at the last moment: we were informed from Dushanbe in the evening, flew out at night, and already in the morning I was in the clinic. Everything was organised perfectly - meeting, hospitalisation, surgery on the same day, and in the evening I was already relaxing in the hotel and feeling great. Thank you so much to the whole team for their clear, professional and heartfelt work! 💐 I confidently recommend Hisar Hospital Intercontinental and Bookimed to all women who are looking for quality, fast and safe treatment abroad.

My biggest concern was what would happen if there were complications. The only positive was the transport that picks you up and drops you off. After I got home, I became really unwell and was taken to hospital with double sepsis, which doctors suspected was from the newly fitted port. I was rushed into surgery to have what cost me well over 3,000 euros removed. I've emailed in about this and haven't even had one reply. Nobodies even had the decent attitude to even text me back. BEWARE.

2 weeks after I got home I became really unwell, I was taken to hospital and it turned out I had double sepsis. They suspected it was from the port that I had fitted as there was puss leaking from it. I was rushed into surgery and had what cost me well over 3,000 euros removed and the doctors who removed it had it tested and both the bacteria that had turned to sepsis was confirmed to be all over it. I've emailed in about this and I ha ent even had 1 reply. I spent 3 and a half weeks in hospital aswell as the costs and inconvenience of getting to Turkey and I have nothing except a big scar where there put it in then spain cut it again to remove it. As I say, nobodies even had the decent attitude to even text me back. BEWARE!!!!!! NO AFTERCARE IF IT GOES WRONG, EVEN IF YOU NEARLY DIE U DONT GET A TEXT.

My surgeon was fantastic. I felt very reassured when he took the time to explain the deep plane technique so clearly and even drew the incision lines with me right before my surgery. He also personally checked on me after I woke up from the general anesthesia. The procedure covered my full face and neck, and I can confirm there were no additional expenses on top of what was quoted. The clinic facilities are excellent. My only disappointment has been the aftercare, as there has been very little contact from the staff. It's still early in the healing process, so it is too early to tell how the final results will look.
The doctor was warm and patient.
Post-op instructions cold be better .

What worried me most was the uncertainty and what the treatment plan would be. But my fears were put to rest after the very first consultation. The doctor was very attentive and explained everything in detail and calmly, which immediately put me at ease. I really appreciate that approach. All the staff at the clinic were responsive and supportive at every stage. The clinic itself made a good impression; everything is well organised. I am currently in the recovery phase and feel much calmer, having a clear understanding of the next steps. It was the right choice.

As for what could be better, I have nothing to add. I was very satisfied with the entire process from start to finish.

If you are seriously considering bariatric surgery, this clinic is definitely worth considering. The entire process, from the initial consultation to the surgery itself, was very well organized. The surgeon and the entire team gave the impression of being competent professionals, which was crucial for me. I felt at ease. My recovery is proceeding as planned, although it's, of course, a significant life change when your meal consists of only 2-3 tablespoons. All my ratings are 5 out of 5, and I am completely satisfied with my choice.
Everything was well-organized. I quickly underwent a complete examination. The operation took place the same day. The staff was polite and attentive, with translators accompanying everywhere. The operation went unnoticed. I fell asleep on the table—in an instant, I was already in the ward. Smooth recovery from anesthesia. After the operation, attentive care was provided, with a nurse checking my blood pressure, temperature, drip, and asking about my feelings almost every hour. They bring food and teach how to eat it properly.
Two nights in the hospital is too little, in my opinion, and then it's impossible to arrange suitable meals at the hotel. It's hard to find chicken broth without salt and spices.

My biggest fear before the operation was adjusting to my new life, especially when it came to eating. But the support from the surgeon and the whole team was incredible. The operation was performed laparoscopically, and a significant portion of my stomach was removed—around 75–80%. Of course, recovery is a process. At the moment, I can only eat 2–3 spoonfuls at a time, and the main difficulty is that food can get stuck, so I have to get used to eating differently. Despite this, my energy levels have already improved slightly. I’ve realised the most important thing: forget your old eating habits! This is a new life in a new body, where you become a culinary connoisseur rather than a mere consumer of food.
