Excellent experience. I traveled from Mexico to have cochlear implant surgery. First of all, I found this hospital thanks to the attention of Bookimed, they attended me very well, got the best option and started the whole process. At the beginning I was obviously a little bit afraid that everything was real and correct and with good results, it was the first time I used this kind of medical tourism. I searched many countries and options and found the best deal through Bookimed at Hisar Hospital in Istanbul at the best price. Now that it's all over, I am pleasantly surprised and grateful to everyone who took care of me. I am impressed with how well they have organized everything for international patients. From the transportation, to the airport-hotel-airport, hotel-hospital-hotel, in all the appointments I had, more than 3 times in two weeks. The international department assigned me one and sometimes two translators, all were very well behaved, Dr. Yabuz Selim very attentive and professional, the hospital was excellent, the package included two nights accommodation in a room with two rooms, and meals for patient and companion. Pre-operative studies, post-operative follow-up, and only the agreed amount was paid from the beginning, not a dollar more we had to pay. I had never had this experience in a hospital before. The whole procedure was fast and without complications, they checked me 3 more times without any problem. They helped me resolve all my doubts and concerns, always with excellent response through whatsapp. I sincerely recommend and thank everyone involved in Hisar Hospital. I hope I never have to go back, but if I need to, I will not even look elsewhere.

I was in constant contact with the coordinator. They were very punctual with scheduling — I even went into the office 5 minutes early. The doctor already knew details about me from the documents I'd sent in advance, which impressed me. Overall, the experience was very good, and I felt that my concerns were treated with seriousness and professionalism.

The most surprising thing is that only 15 days after my laser vein treatment, the veins on both of my legs are completely gone. I wasn't expecting such a clear result this early in recovery. It feels great. From the surgeon to the administrative staff, every person I interacted with at the clinic was professional and genuinely kind, which made the entire process feel very secure. The care I received was excellent and the support provided during this initial healing period has been very reassuring. I'm grateful for the positive outcome and the good service.

Everything was of a very high standard! The doctors, the clinic, the interpreter’s work, the transfers – everything was excellent! I was always accompanied and kept fully informed! It was a huge plus that I was kept in hospital under supervision after the operation!

It would be great to standardise the communication channel... Getting loads of messages from different numbers is a bit confusing... You don’t know where to write if something comes up... But they’ve always been in touch with me!

Hisar hospital was great, rooms were large, clean and they had the latest medical equipment. The doctor (dr. Tayphun Apuhan) explained to us in detail the procedure (it was a tympanoplasty for my wife) and the surgery went perfect. The hospital staff was great, the nurses took very good care of us and the experience was a 5/5 at all times. The doctor also offered the least intrusive solution to my wife's problem so her recovery was quick and successful. The provided translator (which was needed as my wife does not speak english) was great and she guided us throughout the whole treatment phases. I highly recommend this hospital, doctor and bookimed for anyone seeking a tympanoplasty or other ear related surgery.

In my opinion, everything is just top-notch, starting with the doctor and ending with the staff. The transfer was well organized. An interpreter was provided, and the hotel was booked. I also want to express my gratitude to the coordinators, as they were always in touch. We even managed to make some good friends.

Competence of the physician, medical staff, interpreter, and overall everything is good ❤️

Left ear hearing lost of 25yrs long, regained over a week ago after undergoing a tympanoplasty surgery. Very skilled doctors. Very supportive medical team. The nurses on night shift checked on me between 30minutes and an hour to take my BP and check if I was fine. Xxx Very clean, spacious and quite hospital room,if you are not in pain after a surgery, you have a little office table and a comfortable office chair to work on your laptop, sit on the armchair and watch outside through the wide window or just lay on your comfortable and clean hospital bed! I had a five stars room with five stars everything including the very clean and spacious washroom with all amenities. Very comfortable to shower either while sitting or standing. This was worth the cost.😍😍😍😍😍 Met an Orthopaedic expert too who successfully diagnosed my knee condition after one year of GP visits without any conclusions. I can only recommend that if you are looking for everything I have mentioned above while looking for surgery, look no further! This hospital is fairly cheaper, too, compared to many in Turkey. Bookimed helped me choose this after comparing costs with a number of them best medical facilities in Turkey. For ENT, look out for Prof.Dr.Yavuz Selim Yildirim attached on pic.

Meeting a doctor that knows exactly what your problem is, tells/shows you and explains what needs to be done and assures you he can fix it. Expertise and confidence! That gave me 100% hope that my hearing condition was reversible and pa👂 😃

At the orthopaedic, I was given a pictorial sheet for physical exercises for my knees, every text under each pic is in Turkish. For God's sake, we need to read this time and again to get the concept on our own after the translators or after leaving Turkey. 🤔 If only this hospital could have Prescription sheets and data in both English and Turkish without a patient having to ask for, this would lessen the burden placed on translators having to explain what a patient could just read for themselves had it been in English.

I had a choice of hospital to go to after an online search and reading their reviews, but this was way too expensive and one of the bookimed coordinators gave me a price lists which helped me compare cost and ended up in Hisar which was fair enough. Thank you very much, I am so greatful. 🙏 But, I had tooany coordinators from bookimed, I can not remember them all as the hospital also had too many coordinators texting me, very confusing! Kindly try to stick to one coordinator/patient from planning to exit please.

I am extremely happy that I landed on the hands of an ENT expert , " Prof.Dr. Yavus. He knew exactly what my 25yrs old hearing loss problem was and what needed to be done and just did and corrected my hearing instantly! The medical team, from reception,/admin, translators, lab techs, surgery and docs are great, these are professionals who are properly trained. My one night hospital stay in the room after my ear surgery was a five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 experience. Very clean and quite room, with spacious washroom with all amenities in place. You can sit and work on your laptop if you can, sit and read a book or watch out through the window if you like or just lay in your hospital bed and take naps. No pain! Everything about the room was excellent! The nurses on night duty checked me every hour or less to monitor my temperature and/blood pressure. This was angelic 👌 And then I had a soft diet in the morning to break my 24hrs fast, isn't this enough care to appreciate? Doc was happy to learn I can hear! He was successful in his work.💪💪💪 If you have an ENT problem, look out for this hospital and ask for Prof.Dr Yavuz. He shows you and explains what your problem is on a projector and tells you instantly he can correct it and does that with no pain. Was half the price I would have paid in the UK. I met an Orthopaedic surgeon too to address my knees pain. Dr. Tusuf Bayram. An expert in his office. I thought I needed an MRI but no, I explained, he examined, did an x-ray and knew what was wrong, what needs to be done and did what he could. Simple! Three GP visits with an x-ray didn't see my problem but he did. If you got similar problem, please look no further than here.😃🤞 However, I had too many coordinators from both Bookimed and Hisar hospital several.months when planning my treatment. If there is anything I would ask you to improve, kindly stick to one from bookimed and one from the hospital please. To coordinate exceedingly, you need to understand a patient's concern, interest and goal. I did not meet a Neurosurgeon I should have met as planned, because he was given an appointment to meet me on a day that I was on air travelling in the night, how could this be! He had videos of my other neural conditions and had more information about my condition beforehand than the Neurosurgeon I met a day after. And I came back unsatisfied with my neural recommendation. Recovering my hearing loss.

I was not happy meeting a Neurosurgeon I didn't interact with during the planning months. She was physically examining me and not explaining what she was looking out for and why. And then made another test I had to ask what for and even so, the reason I was given wasn't satisfactory. I mean, it should explain what exactly she is investigating. An expert medical personnel does that. Doctors Yavus and Yusuf did!

Was good, they helped me get a cheaper hospital to address my medical conditions than a hospital I had actually found online. Only problem was the miss coordination between the initial Neurosurgeon and the day we should have met.
