Istanbul Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center: Patients Reviews and Experience

I liked absolutely everything. From meeting at the airport to return transfer to the airport. Dr. Ergin is a professional in his field, he says little and does a lot. I would like to especially thank the translator, the girl Varvara. Very pleasant and attentive to all questions.

The single positive aspect of this entire process was the staff. They were wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the surgeon and the clinic itself was profoundly disappointing, and I'm very concerned with how my otoplasty recovery is going so far. The gap between the supportive staff and the actual medical treatment I received is hard to understand. The facility did not meet my expectations for a medical setting in any capacity. Based on this, I would absolutely not recommend this clinic to anyone considering a similar procedure.

My biggest concern was the scarring from a full, hip-to-hip tummy tuck. My surgeon addressed this directly, explaining exactly where the scars would be and marking my body so carefully before the procedure, which really put me at ease. I also had liposuction on my abdomen and flanks, and honestly, I'm feeling better than expected. The clinic is excellent and provided a clear aftercare guide, with no surprise expenses on top of what I paid. While the surgeon and facility were fantastic, the general staff support could have been stronger. My advice for future patients: I would advise you to bring a gown, button-down PJs, a small pillow for support when traveling back home, and comfortable clothing. Push-in shoes like Crocs are perfect. Also, bring a laptop for entertainment.

My main concern was post-operative discomfort, and that’s partly how it turned out: the hardest part wasn’t the pain, but having to breathe through my mouth all the time whilst sleeping. It wasn’t easy. However, it’s only a temporary difficulty. I had open rhinoplasty, and at this stage of recovery, my nasal breathing is already back to how it was before. There is, of course, still some moderate swelling at the tip of my nose, but that is completely normal. The surgeon and the clinic staff worked very smoothly and professionally. Overall, it was a positive experience, and the clinic can be considered a good option.

What worried me most was the pain after the operation and how the recovery would go. But I needn’t have worried. Now I only feel a slight discomfort, which is perfectly bearable. The doctor did everything very carefully, placing the implants under the muscle via an incision beneath the breast, and I’m already happy with the result. Sensitivity is back to normal. I’m sleeping better too. I’m very grateful to the whole team for their support and professionalism. My best advice to other women planning this operation is: the main thing is not to be afraid and to trust the doctor – he’s a pro.

My main worry going into this was the recovery pain, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s not that painful! Of course, there's discomfort, but it was far more manageable than I anticipated, especially while having a 6 month old baby to care for. The biggest challenge for me has honestly just been sleeping upright. I’m still in the early stages of healing, but my incisions looked good when the initial bandages were removed at the clinic, my nipple position has definitely been improved. The surgeon and the clinic staff were very professional and attentive throughout the entire process, providing clear instructions and support. All staff that I came into contact with were polite and caring.

To anyone who’s unsure, I’d say this: if you have insecurities and don’t feel confident, it’s worth taking this step – the sooner, the better. I entrusted my operation to Dr Ergan Er, who performed open rhinoplasty. Even at this early stage of recovery, I can already see the results. My breathing is better than before, and the tip of my nose looks natural. The whole clinic team was very responsive and professional, which was a great support. My main advice is: if you’ve made up your mind, go to Dr Ergan Er.

I was worried about how I would breathe after the operation, as that was one of the main reasons I came here. It’s simply incredible, but even at this early stage of recovery, I feel that my breathing is better than before. That’s the main thing. I had open rhinoplasty, and the whole process, from the consultation right through to the operation itself, was very well organised. The staff at the clinic are caring, and the surgeon inspired complete confidence right from the start. Of course, there is still some swelling, but I can already see positive changes and am grateful to the team for their work.

My main concern heading into this was how painful the recovery would be. And to be honest, the soreness when moving is my biggest challenge right now. The staff, however, were fantastic and fully deserve their 5-star rating. Despite the discomfort, I can already see a clear improvement from the Vaser ultrasonic procedure on the two areas I had treated, which is very encouraging. The clinic and surgeon were good overall. My one piece of advice is something I'm living by. Drink water! It may seem counterproductive when you’re swollen, but it helps so much in the recovery process.

I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr Ergin Er at Istanbul aesthetics plastic surgery centre, and had an incredible experience!! Everyone was incredibly supportive and helpful. Elviira, my Bookimed coordinator, was amazing at answering any questions I had (which was a lot!) and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. I was checked up on after my visit and also when I returned after a few weeks, with full end-to-end support. I had a smooth transition to Yasin, my medical manager, who was flawless at arranging travel and all logistics and also incredibly helpful with aftercare instructions. I did not have to worry or take care of anything myself. The hospital was clean, modern and comfortable and made sure I was ok at all times. The staff were incredibly attentive and more than happy to help answer any questions I had and made sure I didn’t feel nervous going in. My husband who stayed with me throughout was also well taken care of (given meals and bedding to stay next to me overnight), which was hugely appreciated. My surgeon, Dr Ergin Er, was very professional and reassuring- I’ve previously had a septoplasty in the UK which he needed to correct as well as performing the rhinoplasty as we had planned. There were no hidden or extra costs and I’m finally able to breathe clearly (like I was supposed to when I had surgery in London). He clearly communicated realistic expectations and what would suit my face I’m currently almost a month postop and couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! He has done the most incredible job and it is better than I could’ve hoped for I can’t wait to see what it looks like as it heals further but he’s truly turned my biggest insecurity into my new favourite feature! The after-care was fantastic and the recovery process was very easy. All the staff at the hospital were incredible and took such great care of me which I couldn’t be more thankful for. Overall, I had an amazing experience and i’m so pleased with how it’s turned out. I was fully taken care of from the first message to now. Originally I was a bit nervous about travelling abroad for surgery and wasn’t sure what to expect but this whole process has been so easy and smooth that I would absolutely do it again and recommend it to others. Everyone was so supportive and great at calming my nerves and reassuring me throughout every step of the way. I couldn’t be more thankful to my surgeon and the rest of the team for the amazing work they did.

My biggest concern before the operation was the recovery period, and it really is quite demanding. Fifteen days after my full tummy tuck with navel repositioning, standing upright is still the biggest challenge. My tummy is already visibly flatter, but naturally still swollen. I am very satisfied with my surgeon’s work (5/5), and the clinic and staff were also good (4/5). My advice to anyone planning this: prepare well for the recovery period. Comfortable clothes, plenty of water, wet wipes and the right snacks such as wholemeal products, skyr and probiotics are worth their weight in gold. And very importantly: make sure you start taking a laxative, e.g. fig syrup, immediately after the operation.
