I liked absolutely everything. From meeting at the airport to return transfer to the airport. Dr. Ergin is a professional in his field, he says little and does a lot. I would like to especially thank the translator, the girl Varvara. Very pleasant and attentive to all questions.

What worried me most was the pain after the operation and how the recovery would go. But I needn’t have worried. Now I only feel a slight discomfort, which is perfectly bearable. The doctor did everything very carefully, placing the implants under the muscle via an incision beneath the breast, and I’m already happy with the result. Sensitivity is back to normal. I’m sleeping better too. I’m very grateful to the whole team for their support and professionalism. My best advice to other women planning this operation is: the main thing is not to be afraid and to trust the doctor – he’s a pro.

My main worry going into this was the recovery pain, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s not that painful! Of course, there's discomfort, but it was far more manageable than I anticipated, especially while having a 6 month old baby to care for. The biggest challenge for me has honestly just been sleeping upright. I’m still in the early stages of healing, but my incisions looked good when the initial bandages were removed at the clinic, my nipple position has definitely been improved. The surgeon and the clinic staff were very professional and attentive throughout the entire process, providing clear instructions and support. All staff that I came into contact with were polite and caring.

To anyone who’s unsure, I’d say this: if you have insecurities and don’t feel confident, it’s worth taking this step – the sooner, the better. I entrusted my operation to Dr Ergan Er, who performed open rhinoplasty. Even at this early stage of recovery, I can already see the results. My breathing is better than before, and the tip of my nose looks natural. The whole clinic team was very responsive and professional, which was a great support. My main advice is: if you’ve made up your mind, go to Dr Ergan Er.

I was worried about how I would breathe after the operation, as that was one of the main reasons I came here. It’s simply incredible, but even at this early stage of recovery, I feel that my breathing is better than before. That’s the main thing. I had open rhinoplasty, and the whole process, from the consultation right through to the operation itself, was very well organised. The staff at the clinic are caring, and the surgeon inspired complete confidence right from the start. Of course, there is still some swelling, but I can already see positive changes and am grateful to the team for their work.

My main concern heading into this was how painful the recovery would be. And to be honest, the soreness when moving is my biggest challenge right now. The staff, however, were fantastic and fully deserve their 5-star rating. Despite the discomfort, I can already see a clear improvement from the Vaser ultrasonic procedure on the two areas I had treated, which is very encouraging. The clinic and surgeon were good overall. My one piece of advice is something I'm living by. Drink water! It may seem counterproductive when you’re swollen, but it helps so much in the recovery process.

My biggest concern before the operation was the recovery period, and it really is quite demanding. Fifteen days after my full tummy tuck with navel repositioning, standing upright is still the biggest challenge. My tummy is already visibly flatter, but naturally still swollen. I am very satisfied with my surgeon’s work (5/5), and the clinic and staff were also good (4/5). My advice to anyone planning this: prepare well for the recovery period. Comfortable clothes, plenty of water, wet wipes and the right snacks such as wholemeal products, skyr and probiotics are worth their weight in gold. And very importantly: make sure you start taking a laxative, e.g. fig syrup, immediately after the operation.

If I had to give advice to a friend, I’d tell her that recovery is no walk in the park. Fifteen days after the operation, my pain is moderate and manageable, but sleeping is still difficult and my nipples are hypersensitive. What’s more, the range of motion in my arms is severely restricted. The decision to go for the dual-plane technique with the incision under the breast feels right. The surgeon and the clinic were good. I was less satisfied with the staff and the organisation. There’s room for improvement there. Although I mentioned information or queries on several occasions, they were either ignored or people talked around the issue. Communication with the nurses was difficult at times due to their limited English. My best tip for recovery: having someone to accompany you is very important, as you are very dependent on others in all sorts of everyday situations. A water bottle with a straw and tops that open at the front are practical and make the first few weeks easier.

What worried me most was the recovery process itself. Technically, I knew what to expect, but the day-to-day healing process was a mystery. It has been 15 days since my anchor incision surgery. At the moment, the most challenging aspect has been the uneven swelling – it’s a bit disorienting and makes it hard to gauge the final result, so you need to be prepared for that. My nipples are also still settling back to normal, which is to be expected at this stage. Despite these temporary difficulties, the support from the surgeon and the entire staff has been tangible. Everyone at the clinic has proved themselves to be true professionals. It’s a process. I’m simply focusing on healing.

Elviira, my Bookimed coordinator, was amazing at answering any questions I had (which was a lot!) and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. I was checked up on after my visit and also when I returned after a few weeks, with full end-to-end support. I had a smooth transition to Yasin, my medical manager, who was flawless at arranging travel and all logistics and also incredibly helpful with aftercare instructions. I did not have to worry or take care of anything myself. The hospital was clean, modern and comfortable and made sure I was ok at all times. The staff were incredibly attentive and more than happy to help answer any questions I had and made sure I didn’t feel nervous going in. My husband who stayed with me throughout was also well taken care of (given meals and bedding to stay next to me overnight), which was hugely appreciated. My surgeon, Dr Ergin Er, was very professional and reassuring- I’ve previously had a septoplasty in the UK which he needed to correct as well as performing the rhinoplasty as we had planned. There were no hidden or extra costs and I’m finally able to breathe clearly (like I was supposed to when I had surgery in London). He clearly communicated realistic expectations and what would suit my face I’m currently almost a month postop and couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! He has done the most incredible job and it is better than I could’ve hoped for I can’t wait to see what it looks like as it heals further but he’s truly turned my biggest insecurity into my new favourite feature! The after-care was fantastic and the recovery process was very easy. All the staff at the hospital were incredible and took such great care of me which I couldn’t be more thankful for. Overall, I had an amazing experience and i’m so pleased with how it’s turned out. I was fully taken care of from the first message to now. Originally I was a bit nervous about travelling abroad for surgery and wasn’t sure what to expect but this whole process has been so easy and smooth that I would absolutely do it again and recommend it to others. Everyone was so supportive and great at calming my nerves and reassuring me throughout every step of the way. I couldn’t be more thankful to my surgeon and the rest of the team for the amazing work they did.

My biggest challenge at the moment is that my eyes are a bit swollen, and the incision sites from the upper eyelid correction are still a bit red. Despite this, I can already see positive changes. When I smile, my eyes look better than before. That’s the main thing. The surgeon’s work and the clinic as a whole were of a high standard, so I’d give them a 4/5. To anyone considering something similar, my advice would be: be clear about what you want to do and stay as calm as possible.
