How Much Does Cardiological rehabilitation Cost in China?

Cardiological rehabilitation in China typically costs from $1,500 to $3,800. The total price depends on the hospital tier, program duration, and whether patients choose international VIP departments. In the US, this procedure costs $5,300 on average. Programs usually include physician consultations, supervised exercise sessions, and cardiovascular risk factor management in major hubs like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

  • VIP departments. These services often cost more due to bilingual staff and faster admission.
  • Program intensity. Extended regimens lasting 12 weeks naturally increase the overall investment required.
  • TCM integration. Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques may be added for a small premium.
  • Facility location. Prices in primary medical hubs like Shanghai generally exceed those in regional provinces.

Bookimed Expert Insight. Patients can find exceptional value by choosing facilities that blend modern cardiology with traditional techniques. Guangzhou Cihua Hospital offers a unique model combining physical therapy with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Leading experts like Professor Shen Yuqin at Shanghai Tongji Hospital use advanced cardiopulmonary exercise testing. Choosing a facility with JCI or CDQI certification ensures standardized care. Many top-tier centers now offer one-stop services specifically for international patients.
