How Much Does Prosthetic finger Cost in China?

A prosthetic finger in China typically costs from $2,800 to $6,000. The total price depends on whether the device is a passive silicone prosthetic or a functional bionic system. In the US, this procedure costs $10,300 on average. Chinese medical centers often include the prosthetic fitting, initial rehabilitation, and personalized follow-up care in their service packages.

  • Passive silicone prosthetics. Standard cosmetic options are the most affordable variations available.
  • Custom medical-grade silicone. Individually molded fingers matching skin tone and texture add significant costs.
  • Bionic hardware. Motorized or myoelectric finger systems represent the highest price tier in China.
  • Major medical hubs. Prices in Shanghai and Guangzhou often reflect higher clinic tier standards.

Bookimed Expert Insight. China serves over 30,000 orthopedic patients annually at centers like Guangzhou Cihua Hospital. This high volume allows clinics to offer advanced rehabilitation, such as Adele load suits for neurological recovery. Experts like Chen Biao in Shanghai specialize in upper limb surgery for international patients. Choosing a facility with both modern MRI diagnostics and physical therapy ensures better long-term prosthetic integration.
