How Much Does Fox Eye Lift Cost in Mexico?

A Fox Eye Lift in Mexico typically costs from $3,000 to $5,000. Final pricing depends on the surgical technique, clinic location, and surgeon expertise. In the United States, patients pay an average of $9,800 for similar procedures. Choosing Mexico offers savings of approximately 59%. Most packages include medical fees, pre-operative tests, and post-operative follow-up care.

  • Surgical canthopexy: $3,000 to $5,000 for permanent structural eyelid repositioning.
  • Non-surgical thread lifts: Often cost 20-40% less than invasive surgical alternatives.
  • Combined procedures: Adding a brow lift typically increases the total cost by 40-60%.
  • Regional hubs: Main medical centers include Mexico City, Cancún, Monterrey, Mexicali, and Tijuana.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Mexico offers a unique advantage with many surgeons holding dual certifications. For example, specialists at Perfection Makeover and Laser Center are accredited by ASAPS and ISAPS. This ensures international safety standards at a fraction of US costs. Patients should look for clinicians with AMCPER membership in cities like Guadalajara or Monterrey. Higher-tier clinics often include 24/7 patient support and airport transfers in their flat-rate quotes. This provides excellent value for international travelers seeking high-end aesthetic results.

Key Benefits
A Fox Eye Lift in Mexico offers significant cost savings, with prices typically ranging from $1,500 to $1,600. This cosmetic procedure, aimed at achieving a lifted and elongated eye appearance, is more affordable than in the US, where it can cost upwards of $3,000. Popular Mexican cities like Tijuana and Cancun are known for medical tourism, offering advanced techniques such as PDO threading and laser technology. Clinics often adhere to international standards, ensuring high-quality care. It's essential to choose experienced surgeons for optimal results and safety.

Fox Eye Lift in Mexico: Pros and Cons

Fox Eye Lift in Mexico can offer significant cost savings, but it's crucial to weigh the potential benefits against the risks.

Pros Cons
Lower costs. Fox Eye Lift in Mexico typically costs $1,500–$1,600, compared to $3,000+ in the US, offering savings of about 50%. Safety concerns. Potential risks include infection (1–3%), asymmetry, or scarring. These risks are similar to those in the US and can be minimized by choosing experienced, board-certified surgeons.
Qualified surgeons. Surgeons are certified by the Mexican Council of Plastic Surgery (CMCPER), with many having US or European training and over 10 years of experience. Follow-up care. Post-operative checkups may be challenging if you return home quickly. Some clinics offer telemedicine follow-up support.
Modern facilities. Clinics in hubs like Tijuana and Cancun use advanced technology, including PDO threading and laser equipment from leading brands, and are accredited by JCI or ISO. Different regulatory standards. COFEPRIS standards may differ from the FDA. However, top clinics meet international standards and use FDA-approved materials and protocols.
Advanced techniques available. Mexican clinics offer minimally invasive options like PDO threads and laser lifts, which can reduce downtime and visible scarring. Procedure-specific risks. Potential risks include temporary swelling, bruising, or need for revision (revision rates 5–8%). Risks are comparable to those in the US when performed by qualified professionals.
Personal coordinator support. Bookimed’s medical coordinator helps compare clinics, request personalized quotes, and manage treatment logistics at no additional cost.

It's crucial to thoroughly research clinics and verify surgeon credentials before making a decision. When performed by qualified specialists, Fox Eye Lift in Mexico can offer safe and effective results at a lower cost.

If a friend asked me about this clinic for eyelid surgery, my answer would be an absolute no. I chose the traditional incision method for both my upper and lower lids, and the process has been concerning. My biggest challenge is dealing with dry eyes constantly, which is a persistent discomfort throughout the day. The incision lines are still quite red, but the aesthetic result is the most upsetting part. When I smile, you can clearly see how one side is different from the other. The lack of care from the surgeon and staff was palpable. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.
The doctor did not need with me before the surgery to ask anything that I wanted. They did not do a good job on the surgery. I would not go back

My experience has been very bad with Dr. Ayala… He only spoke with me for about 10 minutes before my surgery and afterwards was very reluctant to answer any questions when I said I was not happy with the outcome of my neck and ears. He said I could come back in a couple of months to have it fixed. When I came back. I decided to do liposuction on my abdominal area at the same time again the same thing no follow up as far as what I should be doing or wearing or anything… Again, one of my ears was not corrected and looked actually worse than before. When I came back to get my stitches out I pointed that out and he said that was normal and I argued saying that my other ear came out fine and this year looked bad. He said he couldn’t do anything else except wait for another couple of months and have me come back again. At this point, I showed him my liposuction, which looked bad as well with a lot of fibrosis happening… He gave no recommendation except to have ultrasound treatment done. I went online and discovered I should be wearing compression garments as well as getting massage for lymphatic fluid, which was building up. Once I went to the masseuse, she informed me of all the things I needed to be doing, but this is also cost me an extra thousand dollars. The whole experience was very disappointing and now I need to go to another surgeon to get one of my ears fixed hopefully for the last time But this all started Jan 3 and we are now into May and I’m still not out of the woods! I actually liked the personalities of everybody that I worked with, but I cannot in good conscience. Recommend them to anyone else because I know they will be very disappointed!

All the staff and doctors were skilled, helpful, and very kind; my experience has been very good
All the staff and doctors were skilled, helpful, and very kind; my experience has been very good. My main concern was finding the right surgeon, and I'm happy with my choice for a deep plane facelift. The procedure addressed my full face and neck, and so far, my recovery is progressing about as expected. The clinic has been supportive, providing a clear aftercare guide and being easy to reach. Just note that my medications were an additional expense of $4000 pesos. My best advice: check reviews.

My experience with the surgeon, staff, and clinic has been very positive
If a friend was considering this, I'd tell them my experience with the surgeon, staff, and clinic has been very positive. At this point in my recovery, everything is feeling about as expected. The clinic team has stayed in touch, and I really appreciated that there were no additional expenses on top of what I initially paid. That was a relief. My main piece of advice would be to prepare well for your consultation. I would suggest asking for more time with the doctor before surgery and to bring pictures of what you’d like done specifically to make sure you're aligned.
I was assisted from beginning to end! Great price with a great and safe experience.

This doctor is AWESOME
My biggest concern going into this was the recovery, especially after combining all four procedures. And it is tough. The diastasis recti repair is still very tender, and my biggest mobility challenge is just getting out of bed. It’s a slow process. That said, I can already see an amazing difference in my waist, and my entire torso, which makes the discomfort feel purposeful. This doctor is AWESOME. The support from the surgeon and the entire team was excellent. My most practical advice for other moms is that consistent help is essential for childcare. You will not be able to manage it alone.
This doctor is EXCELLENT. He’s certified, he’s up to date on all treatments. He is judicious and skilled at not just the Sufi al techniques but the aesthetics of the craft. His personality is calm and kind and his staff is supportive. I have had two procedures with him over these past three months and plan to make him ‘my doctor.’ Love this clinic!
Honestly, not really anything except for maybe a clearer structure of post-op recovery therapies and a liaison service or someone to help schedule them efficiently.

Even with initial swelling, the contouring from my full abdominoplasty and liposuction on my flanks is already so much better than expected
The thing that surprised me most was seeing my new waistline so early in the healing process. Even with initial swelling, the contouring from my full abdominoplasty and liposuction on my flanks is already so much better than expected. Recovery has its challenges. For me, the hardest part is that the drains are annoying, but I know that's temporary and part of the journey. My new belly button is healing nicely, which was a relief. The entire team at the clinic was excellent, from the surgeon to the nursing staff. It’s been a solid process so far.
I had a great experience with Dr. Marroquin and staff.
I was not given correct information about the required duration of my stay after surgery. I was also told I needed to lose a significant amount of weight after I booked the surgery and paid the deposit. I had already arranged my flights and hotel and had to reschedule because there was no possible way to lose that amount of weight in the original time frame.

The surgeon and staff were supportive throughout
My main concern going into this was how difficult the recovery would be, and it is definitely a process. The surgeon and staff were supportive throughout. For my extended tummy tuck, they created a new position for my belly button, and my abdomen feels very tight now, which is a good sign. While my stomach is already looking flatter, it's still swollen. The biggest challenge by far is just standing up straight. My advice is to make sure your home is prepared for you to heal and recover in comfort. It really helps. Also, measure yourself before purchasing any faja or compression gear, as the sizes differ so much across different sites.
My coordinator, Carlo, was amazing. He was prompt with answers to any questions. Surgeon, Dr Ayala was very personable and friendly. Staff at clinic was nurturing.
Maybe some post recovery snacks would have been nice.

I'm relieved to say my incisions are already well-hidden behind my ears
My biggest worry beforehand was about scarring and the recovery process. I'm relieved to say my incisions are already well-hidden behind my ears. The surgeon performed a deep plane lift, and the result so far is a jawline with noticeable new definition. My neck feels comfortably snug, not painfully tight. The hardest part of recovery has been sleeping elevated, which is to be expected but still challenging. Overall, the process with the clinic and staff was very straightforward. My one tip for others would be to prepare your kitchen in advance: get soft foods and melons, fresh fruits or steam-able vegetables like carrots. You'll want to take small bites at first.
The surgery had to be delayed because I was not feeling well right after arriving at my hotel. I came from outside Mexico for the procedure. We were able to do it a week later, and I stayed extra days for the reschedule. The staff is great and very personable. On the phone I spoke to and messaged the Doctor's personal assistant, and he speaks and writes great English. On the day of surgery, I stayed overnight following the procedure, and my night nurse had her phone set up so we could speak, translating questions, answers, and instructions back and forth. The dinner was beverages, yogurt, freshly made grilled chicken with steamed vegetables, the morning breakfast was eggs, yogurt with melon for breakfast. I stayed in a private room. I saw Dr. Aguilera right after I was prepped for surgery by the anesthesiologist and two nurses, who introduced themselves. Dr. Aguilera met me in the operating room, before I was given the final dose of sleeping medication, and was the first person I saw, still in the operating room, when emerging from anesthesia. The following day, the doctor checked my sutures and gave me some advice about what to do and not to do, the following day. He was satisfied with my recovery, so my head and neck were wrapped up for the Uber ride back to my hotel apartment. We had a stove, microwave, dishes and a full refrigerator in the room where we were staying. This is so convenient for gel packs, fresh foods and juices. I felt extremely comfortable traveling home on a three-hour flight, 10 days after the operation. Based on my experience, Plan fourteen days, giving yourselves an opportunity to settle in will make for a much more gratifying experience. Mexico City is quite easy to travel around, and since it is high altitude, the best way to adjust is to see the city or neighborhood you live in as you prepare for your procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Aguilera; I am healing well, and I am happy with the results.
The internet reception is not good on the sidewalk in front of the building, probably due to the other tall buildings. Just make sure you have made any arrangements for pick-up in the office where the wi-fi is.

I felt like both were done taking exactly what I wanted into account and the overall symmetry at the end for my nostrils was excellent - my nose had been broken and before surgery lack of symmetry was a big issue
I had a really great experience with my doctor and care here. I wanted a very natural looking nose, not to look "doll-like" or like I had a rhinoplasty. Same for lip filler. I felt like both were done taking exactly what I wanted into account and the overall symmetry at the end for my nostrils was excellent - my nose had been broken and before surgery lack of symmetry was a big issue. I believe it required different degrees of cutting for each nostril so I'm very impressed that the end result's symmetry appears less than 1mm different from one another, that's a huge improvement from before. The shape is really nice and I was impressed that after surgery the packing was done in such a way that I was able to breathe through my nose the whole time, even during my recovery.

Their staff was very accommodating and thoughtful - everyone was super nice and considerate, especially Sara and Maria
First off, I used Aura Wellness Center, instead of Alice Beauty Clinic. And, their staff was very accommodating and thoughtful - everyone was super nice and considerate, especially Sara and Maria. Sara was the best English speaker there and helped me with everything. Maria was kind, warm, and also a great English speaker. They made it less lonely since I had this journey alone. Through Bookimed, I was assisted by Confidence, she was super thoughtful and checked up on me. She made sure I had connections with my medical coordinator and doctor. My coordinator was named Carlos. He was kind, answering all my questions and even texted me after my surgery numerous time to ensure I was recovering and satisfied with my results. My doctor was Dr. Ayala. I can't say much about him since he was in and out of the surgery room. I met him briefly. And, I'm unsure of my results as I am only one month post-op.
The staff at the clinic was accommodating. The coordinator from Bookimed and from the doctor ensured my questions were answered.
Dr. Ayala's brevity and lack of check up after the surgery. I didn't meet him more than 15 (when I was conscious since I was under anesthesia when he operated on me).

Terrible surgeon. Will not take the time to speak with you, when he does he knows limited English and is very very rushed. The first time me he gave me results that were so drastic I looked like a pig or someone from who-ville. I had to pay for a second surgery for him to give me my old nose but even worse! (Again super rushed, had zero time to make a decision). Absolutely awful experience. Scary. He refused to even try to fix my nose now for another 6 months. Even though I offered to pay again. Have to date and see friends humiliated with a half finished face. Go to someone with talent and who actually cares. He doesn’t. You are just a number to the surgeons there.

FAQ about Fox Eye Lift in Mexico

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What kind of follow-up care is available once I'm back in my home country?

Many clinics offer virtual follow-up consultations via video calls for international patients. Additionally, establish contact with a local plastic surgeon for physical examinations and any necessary interventions as part of your continued care plan.

Can I combine my surgery with a vacation, or is that not advisable?

While it's tempting to combine surgery with leisure activities, it's advisable to focus on recovery post-surgery. Physical exertion or sun exposure can hinder healing; prioritize rest and follow medical advice for optimal results.

What should I consider when planning travel arrangements for my surgery?

Plan for adequate rest time before traveling back home by booking flexible return tickets. Consider proximity to medical facilities, accommodation comfort, and transportation convenience when selecting where to stay during recovery.

How do I verify the accreditation of the clinic in Mexico?

Check if the clinic is accredited by reputable organizations such as the Joint Commission International (JCI) or local health authorities. Accreditation ensures adherence to high standards of safety and quality in healthcare services.

Is it safe to travel shortly after undergoing a Fox Eye Lift procedure?

Traveling is generally safe 7-10 days after a Fox Eye Lift once initial healing has occurred and you're cleared by your surgeon. Ensure you follow all post-operative instructions and avoid strenuous activities during travel.

What if I experience complications after returning from Mexico?

If complications arise after returning home, contact your Mexican surgeon immediately for advice. Additionally, seek assistance from a local board-certified plastic surgeon who can provide necessary interventions or treatments if required.

How do I handle post-operative care once I return home?

Before leaving Mexico, obtain detailed post-operative care instructions from your surgeon. Arrange follow-up appointments with a local healthcare provider familiar with cosmetic surgery to monitor your recovery progress once back home.

Are there any hidden costs associated with getting a Fox Eye Lift in Mexico?

While many clinics offer all-inclusive packages covering surgery, anesthesia, and hospital fees, additional costs may include pre-operative tests, medications, or extended accommodation. Always request a detailed breakdown of costs before committing to ensure transparency.

What is the recovery process like, and how long will I need to stay in Mexico?

Recovery from a Fox Eye Lift typically takes about 1-2 weeks, with initial swelling and bruising subsiding within the first week. It's recommended to stay in Mexico for at least 7-10 days post-surgery for follow-up appointments and immediate care if needed.

Will there be a language barrier during my consultation and procedure?

Many clinics in Mexico cater to international patients and have staff fluent in English to facilitate communication. It's advisable to confirm language proficiency during your initial contact with the clinic to ensure clear understanding throughout your treatment process.

How do I ensure the surgeon in Mexico is qualified and experienced?

Verify the surgeon's credentials by checking their membership with international organizations such as the ISAPS or their certification by the Mexican Council of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery. Look for surgeons who have extensive experience specifically with Fox Eye Lifts and read patient reviews to gauge satisfaction.

What are the potential risks of having a Fox Eye Lift in Mexico?

Potential risks of a Fox Eye Lift include infection, scarring, asymmetry, and changes in sensation. It's crucial to choose a board-certified surgeon and a reputable clinic to minimize these risks. Always discuss potential complications with your surgeon during the initial consultation.
