I cannot recommend Jean more highly
RE: Bridge and Implants My extensive experience with dental treatment in the USA is simply unparalleled. Jenna, Alma, Roberto, and Alec together form such an efficient and responsive team. Throughout the entire time, I felt I was in safe hands, being well cared for. These kind individuals were willing to dedicate ample time to me and address all my questions. Even during the process, they were prepared to take the time to ensure I was satisfied with our decisions. I spent significantly less money on them than I would have on all my other expenses. They are true professionals, equipped with modern technology and genuinely caring for their patients. I cannot recommend Jean more highly.
Everything. I’ll add here that the office is a three minute walk from the hotel.
Don’t trust or rely on Hilton’s shuttle service.

We are very satisfied with the quality of work, the professionalism of Dr
This time we contacted the dental center of Mexico Dentavida to Dr. Alberto Guvera. We are very satisfied with the quality of work, the professionalism of Dr. Alberto. But in the case of my husband, a medical mistake was made in Turkish dentistry when installing crowns, which we will try to solve in the near future. Then we will share the results.

FAQ about Resin bonded bridge in Mexico

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What qualifications should I look for in a Mexican resin-bonded bridge dentist?

When choosing a Mexican resin-bonded bridge dentist, prioritize specialists with postgraduate training in oral rehabilitation or prosthodontics. Top candidates typically hold a master's degree in prosthodontics and maintain active membership in the Asociación Dental Mexicana (ADM) to demonstrate clinical expertise.

  • Specialized education: Look for a master's in prosthodontics or advanced training in oral rehabilitation.
  • Accredited memberships: Verify membership in the Asociación Dental Mexicana or the American Dental Association.
  • International training: Many top doctors completed postgraduate fellowships in the USA, Spain, or Germany.
  • Advanced credentials: Seek specialists with a PhD in biomaterials or certifications from Cambridge University.

Bookimed Expert Insight: A unique pattern among top-tier Mexican restorative dentists is international academic tenure. For example, Dr. Rebeca Riera at Bokanova Riviera Maya served as a professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. This academic background often indicates a deep understanding of adhesive protocols and material science, which are critical for resin-bonded bridge longevity.

Patient Consensus: Patients note it is important to find a dentist who talks about bite alignment and occlusion planning. They appreciate clinicians who are honest about which teeth are good candidates and who provide clear flossing instructions. Many felt more confident when their dentist suggested using an occlusal guard to protect the new bridge.

How do I verify the credentials of a dental specialist in Mexico?

  • Government registration: Check the SEP database for the practitioner's mandatory professional license number.
  • Specialty licensing: Verify the additional specialty license for complex tasks like resin bonded bridges.
  • Board certification: Look for credentials from the Mexican Association of Periodontology or similar councils.
  • Clinic accreditation: Top clinics hold certifications from the American Dental Association or Asociación Dental Mexicana.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bookimed data shows that top Mexican specialists often possess Spanish or American training. For example, Dr. Rebeca Riera and Dr. Esteban Barragan completed postgraduate work at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Choosing doctors with these international ties usually indicates advanced skills in modern prosthetic materials.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that you should not rely only on website claims or diplomas. They say it is vital to ask for the dentist's full legal name and license number. This helps confirm the person treating you is the actual registered specialist.

Inquire if the doctor holds American Dental Association (ADA) or Asociación Dental Mexicana (ADM) accreditation. Confirm if they use single-wing or double-wing designs to suit your bite alignment.

  • Specialized credentials: Ask if the dentist is a prosthodontist with international training in restorative dentistry.
  • Material selection: Clarify if they use zirconia, all-ceramic, or metal-backed wings for the bridge retainers.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize the need to clarify if the bridge is a long-term solution or a cosmetic fix. They often feel surprised by the strict aftercare rules, such as avoiding hard foods like peanut brittle.
