I recently booked a blepharoplasty with dr Elgin Er through Bookimed. They were very speedy in their response to any of my questions and the representative from Bookimed followed up frequently to ensure that all the arrangements were done fast and effectively. I am quite impressed with how easy it was to arrange everything through them. It took the uncertainty and difficulty out of the process. The liked the ease of the whole process. All arrangements were done and each step of the process worked like clockwork. Traveling with a dedicated driver to and from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel to the clinic and back. The hotel they booked was sufficient and the staff were very friendly and supportive. The surgeon, dr Elgin is very knowledgeable and I’m quite happy with the outcome of the surgery. Very little scarring and bruising. You only see the surgeon for 5 min before the operation. All post-op visits are done with other doctors. When you have any questions for the surgeon be sure to ask it during the first consultation as you won’t get another chance. Although my contract stated that it includes for a partner with 5 nights at the hotel and 1 night in the hospital , my booking at the hotel was only for 1 person. And it was only 4 nights at the hotel as I had to check out of the hotel for the night in the hospital and re- check in after the surgery. That was a quite inconvenient as I would have liked to leave my luggage in the room, and my partner also had to pay extra to stay in the hotel for the night that I was in the hospital.

My biggest worry going into this was how visible the scars would be after my lower eyelid correction. Even though I’m still in the early stages of healing, the traditional incision lines are already barely noticeable, which is a huge relief. The surgeon and staff were excellent throughout. Based on the care I received and the initial results, I am very pleased with my choice of clinic. Gia my coordinator was lovely and very helpful. Fortunately, the surgeon did an excellent job – the incisions were made using the traditional method and are now hidden in the natural folds of the skin. I have no complaints about him whatsoever. However, the overall impression was greatly marred by the clinic itself, where the conditions were unsatisfactory. Recovery is still ongoing. My eyes are still swollen, and I’ve noticed that when I smile, one side looks slightly different. I hope this will pass. The main advice I would give to anyone considering this procedure is to prepare thoroughly for the period before and after the operation.

Sitting in the clinic in Antalya, the surgeon explained how the laser-assisted technique for my upper eyelids would function during the procedure. The whole service was smooth and we had a fantastic time throughout our stay. The aftercare was good. I was thrilled with how my eyes looked at 12 days, although at day 15 my biggest challenge is that they are still puffy. My eyes look natural and smooth when I smile. It is a process. We will be going back for other treatment and truly can’t recommend them enough. If you are considering eyelid surgery, ensure you have a few weeks to let the initial swelling settle.

What I remember most about the whole process was the doctor’s approach. Before the operation, he personally marked the incision lines on my upper eyelids and honestly explained what I could realistically expect from the result. The procedure was carried out under general anaesthetic, and I now feel better than I expected. It was a great help that the doctor personally checked on me after the operation, and the clinic provided clear aftercare instructions. There were no additional costs. The only advice I would give to future patients is to make sure you confirm the exact date and time of the operation in advance.

What worried me most was how I'd manage the recovery, especially the no-sitting rule. It's a challenge. Finding a comfortable sleeping position has been the hardest part so far. My projection already looks good, although it is still quite swollen. The areas where they performed the VASER lipo feel lumpy and hard, which I understand is part of the early healing process. Despite the discomforts of recovery, the surgeon and the entire staff were supportive and professional, which made a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend this clinic.

I was on 29 September 2025 at Lockman hekim clinic for breast and eyelid reduction.All my fears and doubts were in vain. From the very beginning of my enquiry at Bookimed to the last taxi ride to the airport after the procedures, everything went without a single obstacle. Everything went smoothly and smoothly. We arrived very early, we were taken to the clinic and our interpreter Olga was already in touch with us. We were placed in a beautifully decorated room, on the same day all the necessary medical parameters were taken. The doctor clearly explained what would happen and how it would be done. We were in the clinic for 3 days and then to the hotel. It was also clean, beautifully designed, rich breakfast. I recommend Lokman Hekim and Dr Marat Yaman if you want to change your appearance.

After a month in Antalya, I had a consultation with a doctor at the clinic and after the operation. All this time Valeria accompanied me and was in touch with me. I am satisfied with the results. If a friend asked me about this clinic for eyelid surgery, my answer would be an absolute no. I chose the traditional incision method for both my upper and lower lids, and the process has been concerning. My biggest challenge is dealing with dry eyes constantly, which is a persistent discomfort throughout the day. The incision lines are still quite red, but the aesthetic result is the most upsetting part. When I smile, you can clearly see how one side is different from the other. The lack of care from the surgeon and staff was palpable. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

The medical team members are so friendly and helpful. Although I speak zero Korean, I can sense their passion and empathy, which dramatically reduced my anxiety to go through the surgery. They are very supportive from the right beginning to the end when I left Seoul. And big thanks to the assistance from Yena, who provides detailed before and after care instructions rather than just working as an interpreter. I want to share my experience of medical travelling. I travelled to Prague by transport car. I was picked up from my home and taken directly to the Altos Clinic. The journey was very comfortable and fast. The driver was polite and caring, which made the journey even more pleasant. Upon arrival at the clinic, I was met by the staff who immediately helped me with all the necessary paperwork. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and attention I received. Overall, my medical trip to Prague was a success and I was satisfied with both the trip and the quality of treatment.
