How Much Does Orthopedic Rehabilitation Cost in Bangkok?

Orthopedic rehabilitation in Bangkok typically costs from $4,800 / ฿163,200 to $4,800 / ฿163,200 depending on the complexity of the injury and the required technologies. Patients save around 90% compared to the US, where this procedure costs $18,500 / ฿629,000 on average. Standard packages in the city usually include specialist consultations, physical therapy sessions, and progressive mobility monitoring.

  • Spinal cord injury rehabilitation: $18,500 / ฿629,000 to $45,000 / ฿1,530,000 for intensive multidisciplinary care.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bangkok anchors Thailand's medical sector by concentrating the most JCI-accredited facilities, offering more specialized recovery equipment than regional hubs like Chiang Mai or Samui. A significant value pattern emerges at centers like PYONG Rehabilitation Group, which integrates high-cost robotic gait training with physician-led supervision. Clinics like Sanpiti Rehabilitation Center further maximize patient value by bundling 24-hour nursing care and specialized nutritionist-guided meals into their monthly inpatient recovery stays.

Thank you for all your help, you have been wonderful
The hospital were great and lots of pluses for extra treatments. Stephen is doing fine and the rehabilitation helped in small ways. The only thing I would say is the rooms are pretty average—especially bathrooms if someone is looking for something more modern, Navamin is not it! Plus it is so busy that things happen at break neck speed which we found it hard to keep up with at times. Thank you for all your help, you have been wonderful.
