I chose not to use the services at all. I was working with book med for months looked at the pictures of the hospital, but when I got there and actually saw the hospital, it was dirty. The room where you take. The pictures looks dirty unorganized so what would the operating room look like? I pay the consultant fee, but the doctor never touched me. Never put his hands on me. Just looked at my pictures and I'm in the room so you need to fix that.
The person dealing with me, I believe her name was Donna was very nice
I didn't make anything else very unprofessional. It was like the doctor didn't have time yet. You want to cut on me very unprofessional he was unprofessional looks sloppy. Yeah I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
About Bookimed service
Tiffany and Whitington, the coordinators were fine. Got all the information. It was the dirtiness of the hospital and the unprofessionalism of the doctor. He looks sloppy like he didn't have time like I said before he never even touched me so I paid a consultation fee for a conversation about nothing, not happy

My results are better than I could've ever expected and I'm so in love with my new body!
Surgeon and nurses were incredible in every way. My results are better than I could've ever expected and I'm so in love with my new body! Hospital was very clean and comfortable. Wasn't happy with the director she was rude and confused everyone by taking over the surgeon and myself. Other than that the experience was perfect and I would recommend.

Medical team was as expected, nurses were very good. Language barrier was an issue, after care support was nil, staff were off sick, one nurse working with inpatient and me as outpatient. I was not ambulatory, so she came to me. Very rushed, no explanation of meds or paperwork. Medical certificate pre filled out before final surgery was even done. Surgeons tummy tuck was done well, neck lift - good, butt lift and breast lift not done, fat transfer instead, not what I wanted. Face lift was only on upper eye lid and did not work as expecterd, was looking for blepharoplasty, Upper and lower eye lids. Surgeon did not know what I meant. Still have wrinkles around eyes, still have over hanging eyelid in brow area. Not recommended if you have additional health issues, I have anaphylaxis to wheat which means all medications need to be checked, nurses and doctor did not know what I meant, so I could not take food or medication there. Also, most staff did not understand my request for wheat free foods- became a big issue. Perfectly fine to attend this clinic if you are in good health and have no other life threatening health issues. Below photo on left is what I got, photo on right is what I wanted. AS you can see in the other e photos, myafor arm adn upper arms still have excess skin and wrinkles, my inner thighs still have too much skin and lots of wrinkles. I had asked for VASER lyposuction, this liquifies fat and shrinks skin, not sure I got that type of liposuction. This bruising 2 weeks post surgery.
Nurses were wonderful
Surgeon was impatient and unwilling to try to understand my needs, again language was an issue
About Bookimed service
Although staff promised assistance all the way through, this is not the reality, there was often a significant time lag, and in case of emergency that was very unhelpful

100% recommend this clinic
On 19.02.2025 I had breast augmentation surgery. Beforehand, I received a detailed consultation from professionals Dr Anychit Kitsombud, Dr Elena Goldobenko and nurse Maricor. The doctor helped with the choice of size and shape of implants, told me in detail about the operation, consequences, recovery process, gave clear recommendations. The surgery was easy, the medical staff was always in touch, they helped, cared. Dr Elena is always in touch, controls the recovery process, gives recommendations. Definitely, the choice of this clinic was the right decision for this operation. I am very happy with the result. 100% recommend this clinic. Professionalism, safety, care - B Care!

I'm still healing from my surgery but so far I'm very happy with the result and would recommend the hospital and clinic, and would like to reassure anyone going abroad that you'll be in good hands!
Had a rhinoplasty at B care hospital and the care the team provided was amazing. Just wanted to write this to reassure anyone looking into it, as my family were concerned about me heading out to Thailand to have the procedure as a lot of families would be. The hospital and clinic were sparkling clean. The co-ordinator, nurse and doctor were all just lovely and very attentive to my needs. There was no difficulty communicating with the doctor who went through exactly what would be done during the procedure. One thing I was happy about was the 2 nights in hospital - other places I looked at only gave you one night, or even home the same day. Being sleepy after the surgery, I wouldn't have wanted to go back to my accom the same day. I was grateful I had the lovely nurse Mariko looking after me. Also the room at the hospital was lovely - spacious and bright with a nice en suite and all the facilities you would need. I also realised I had tonsillitis on the day I left the hospital (I think I got it before I even had the surgery) and the team were very caring and made sure I had all the medications I needed for that too, before going back to my accommodation. I'm still healing from my surgery but so far I'm very happy with the result and would recommend the hospital and clinic, and would like to reassure anyone going abroad that you'll be in good hands! Bookimed were also really good at keeping in touch and my coordinator Marsela was patient while I took my time to decide if I was going to go ahead with the procedure in the first place, and was always there to answer any questions I had. All very much appreciated!

But overall I'm really happy with my experience with the ID Clinic team ☺️
Ice was one of the nurses who collected me from the airport. She was so kind for waiting nearly two hours for me due to a delay I had. She helped me so much after my surgery too. Another nurse Marge was wonderful. She helped with translation and my aftercare, she was so gentle when helping take out my stitches. I thank all of the nursing staff, they were all wonderful in their own way and treated me very well. I wish I could have spoken with the doctor more, he always seemed in a rush, I know he is a very busy man but if he could slow down just a bit it would help the patient care factor improve. But overall I'm really happy with my experience with the ID Clinic team ☺️ I only took two pictures of the inside of my overnight room, the clinic was very clean and comfortable and beautiful 🙏
The staff and nurses were exceptional!
Not enough conversation with the doctor, he seemed in a hurry

I'm very impressed with the outcome
I'm very impressed with the outcome. Bookimed assistant was helpful and arrange a virtual consultation with the consultant. While English was not his strong fort, his expertise made up for it. The staff, especially Margi was extremely valuable as she speaks fluently English. Her knowledge and expertise was well appreciated as well as her care and attentiveness. The staff was nice. I did rhinoplasty and liposuction and I'll very impressed with the outcome. Post op care was provided. The nose did not hurt post op in comparison with the liposuction, which was quite uncomfortable. Not painful, numb and tender I suppose. As to the cost, it's fairly competitive.
The expertise
More English speakers would have been nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and easy the process was from start to finish
Bookimed was extremely helpful, making the whole process seamless. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and easy the process was from start to finish. I felt well supported and all of my questions and concerns were always answered in a timely manner. The staff at ID Clinic were approachable and friendly, they attended to my needs and requests immediately during my overnight stay and the days following my surgery. The only thing I am not satisfied with, is the lack of depth of my in person consult prior to surgery, as my breast asymmetry was not properly addressed or discussed. Now, I will likely have to explore alternate procedures at a high cost to correct my breast asymmetry once I am fully healed, which I am frustrated with as I feel this should have been taken into consideration and corrected during my initial breast augmentation surgery. However, I would still recommend Bookimend and the ID Clinic as my overall experience was good.
The ease and comfort of the process once I arrived in Thailand.
The lack of depth of my in person consult prior to surgery, that no interventions were made to correct my breast asymmetry during surgery.
About Bookimed service
I felt completely supported during my journey. My coordinator was very responsive and compassionate.

Overall, I happy with my liposuction and tummy tuck procedure
My surgeon was excellent however, when I asked about the risks, he didn’t reply. The medical staff/nurses were excellent, however, there was only 1 nurse who spoke English well but she was unavailable for 2 of my medical appointments (not her fault, she was in the OR). As a result, I had to rely on the translator for information. She often didn’t ask other nurses for information, so I felt I wasn’t getting specific medical information related to my recovery but rather general information. In my opinion, this shouldn’t happen and is a shortcoming of the clinic which can easily be rectified through feedback. My other observation is the cost of the procedure changed three times. Bookimed stated “The average cost of Liposuction in Thailand ranges from $2,177 to $6,444.” No currency was listed, I found out from Adam on WhatsApp the currency was THB. That would indicate that bookimed low-balled the cost considerably. Your personal medical coordinator is Dr. Marsela Canameti. The treatment price ranges from $2,000 to $3,500 USD, depending on the specifics of your case. Program description: The patient is good candidate to the Vaser liposuction and tummy tuck surgery . This procedure cost 4500 USD. The day of my surgery, when I was asked to pay, I was told that if I used a credit card, I would have to pay a 3% surcharge. That should have been mentioned on the day of my consultation. The day before, when I paid the $500 USD deposit with my credit card, they didn’t mention a surcharge. I made the maximum payment on my debit card, then they charged my credit card twice and said they didn’t charge me the extra 3%. Overall, I happy with my liposuction and tummy tuck procedure, continue to recover and need to wait 1-2 or months to be fully recovered and see the final result. I would recommend the ID clinic.
The care and empathy demonstrated by the nurses after my procedure

About Bookimed service
Bookimed was often behind/not keeping up with the progress of my case. In the bookimed chat they told me I had to pay $200 for my appointment. I asked why or how to pay but didn’t get an answer. Seems your medical coordinator is currently not in the workplace. Your message is delivered, and they will respond to you as soon as they are back! Your patience is appreciated, In WhatsApp, I was asked if I needed the clinic address. My consultation appointment was at 11am, so by the time I was asked this was 3 hours too late, I already had my consultation and was already at a hospital getting my medical tests. We’re probably happy
The process was far more involved than we expected, however, we didn’t know what to expect. We’re probably happy. We didn’t realize that is a rather substantial procedure. The medical testing part takes almost an entire day, so don’t plan anything else on that day. Surgery takes about a half day and you’ll be wiped out the following day as well, so no plans is a good idea. You’ll wear a compression sleeve around your face for over a week, so we packed lightweight, hooded sun, shirts, and that worked well. we had our sutures removed at eight days, but 10 days would’ve been better, so you have to plan at least 10 days after your surgery before you leave Bangkok.

Our Tummy tuck Techniques: What Suits You Best?

When considering Tummy tuck, it’s important to understand the different techniques and which is best suited for you. Here’s a concise comparison of popular options:

Vaser 3 Areas + Tummy Tuck

This procedure combines targeted fat removal from three areas using advanced ultrasound technology with abdominoplasty for a firmer, flatter midsection.

Pros: Precise fat removal with 30% more skin tightening. Faster recovery with less bruising compared to traditional liposuction and abdominoplasty.
Cons: Longer procedure time due to combining two surgeries. Increased risk of complications compared to standalone procedures.
Effectiveness: Removes up to 6 liters of fat.
Duration: 4-6 hours
Recovery: 4-6 weeks
Best for: Post-pregnancy body, excess skin removal, and muscle tightening in the abdomen.
Prices: Cost of Vaser 3 Areas + Tummy Tuck in Thailand from $1,188

Tummy Tuck and Liposuction

This surgical procedure combines abdominal surgery and liposuction to remove excess skin and fat for a flatter stomach.

Pros: Addresses both skin and fat issues simultaneously, leading to comprehensive results. High satisfaction rate with 95% of patients reporting improved body contour.
Cons: Longer recovery time compared to Vaser 3 Areas + Tummy Tuck. Potentially more visible scarring due to larger incision.
Effectiveness: Removes up to 10 pounds of fat and 5 inches of excess skin.
Duration: 3-4 hours
Recovery: 4-6 weeks
Best for: Post-pregnancy body, significant weight loss, or loose skin issues in the abdomen.
Prices: Cost of Tummy Tuck and Liposuction in Thailand from $3,252

All You Need to Know about Tummy tuck in Thailand

What is a Tummy Tuck?

A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty surgery, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that removes excess fat and skin from the abdominal area and tightens the abdominal muscles. It results in a smoother, firmer appearance of the stomach.

💡Patients choose this surgery after significant weight loss or multiple pregnancies, as it can address the sagging skin and stubborn fat that diet and exercise alone can't fix. It's about restoring not just your body but your self-confidence, too.

Abdominoplasty significantly improves quality of life, as shown by an 83% completion rate of follow-up assessments in a study of 64 women.

Key benefits included:

-enhanced body satisfaction;

- self-esteem;

- sexual functioning;

- and mental health;

- depression symptoms, drive for thinness, and bulimia decreased notably, with the overall risk of eating disorders significantly reduced. T

✅This demonstrates the procedure's profound positive impact on physical and psychological well-being.

What Are The Thai Belly Tuck Options?

When considering a tummy tuck in Thailand, several techniques suit different needs, from minor corrections to more extensive body contouring.

💠 Mini tummy tuck

Targets the lower abdomen below the belly button, ideal for minor loose skin and fat. It's less invasive and offers a quicker recovery.

💠 Full tummy tuck

Addresses the entire abdominal area and removes significant skin and fat while tightening the muscles. This option is best for more extensive corrections.

💠 Belt lipectomy

A comprehensive procedure that goes beyond the abdomen, addressing excess skin and fat around the waistline, lower back, and hips.

💡Modern methods like laser, ultrasound, and vibration techniques offer enhanced fat removal and skin tightening and are often included in tummy tuck Thailand packages.

Tummy Tuck vs Other Body Contouring Procedures

Abdominoplasty stands apart from other body sculpting procedures like liposuction, coolsculpting, and body lifts in terms of invasiveness, results, and recovery time.

💠 Flat belly surgery vs lipo

While suction-assisted lipectomy focuses on fat removal, an abdominoplasty also tightens muscles and eliminates excess skin.

The abdominal surgery is more invasive but delivers more comprehensive, long-lasting results, particularly for those with sagging skin.

💠 Abdominal surgery vs cryolipolysis

Coolsculpting is a non-invasive treatment that freezes fat cells, making it effective for smaller fat deposits.

However, it doesn't address skin laxity or muscle weakness, which a tummy tuck can correct for more dramatic results.

💠 Waistline correction surgery vs body Lift

A body lift is a more extensive procedure that addresses the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.

It's suited for massive weight loss patients but requires a longer recovery than a belly tuck, which focuses mainly on the stomach area.

Who Is a Candidate for a Tummy Tuck?

faq image

✅ Suitable patients:

  • Those with excess skin and fat after weight loss or pregnancy.

  • People with weakened abdominal muscles.

  • Patients at a stable weight and in good health.

  • Non-smokers or those willing to quit before and after surgery.

  • People with realistic expectations

💡A survey shows Gen X (43–58) and Gen Z (12–26) are most interested in tummy tucks, with 18% and 17% having the procedure. Baby Boomers (59–77) and Gen Y (27–42) show lower participation, likely due to age, finances, and health concerns.

❌ Not suitable for:

  • Patients planning future pregnancies or more weight loss

  • Those with unmanaged conditions like diabetes or heart issues

  • Smokers or those unable to quit

  • People unable to follow post-op care instructions

💡 A consultation with a plastic surgeon is essential to determine if a tummy tuck is right for you.

How Is the Surgery Performed?

Step Details
Preparation Blood tests, physical exam, and medical history review. Stop smoking and avoid blood thinners.
Anesthesia General anesthesia to ensure the patient is asleep and pain-free.
Surgical Technique Incision made along the lower abdomen, excess skin and fat removed, muscles tightened, skin repositioned.
Duration Typically takes 2–5 hours, depending on the complexity of the procedure.

What to Know About Recovery and Care?

Stage Details
First 24–48 hours Monitor in recovery; go home the same day or after 1 night. Pain and swelling are expected.
Week 1 Swelling and bruising; light movement encouraged; rest essential.
Week 2–3 Swelling decreases; resume light activities, avoid bending/lifting.
1 month Primary healing begins; stitches may be removed.
3 months Return to moderate activity; avoid intense exercise.
6 months–1 year Final results are visible, swelling subsides, and scars fade.

Post-surgery tips 📝

  • Wear a compression garment for a few weeks to reduce swelling.

  • Attend follow-up visits to track your recovery.

  • Avoid heavy activity and intense workouts during healing.

  • Rest well and eat a balanced diet to support recovery and maintain results.

What Are The Potential Risks?

While a tummy tuck procedure is generally safe when performed by an experienced plastic surgeon, it's essential to understand the potential risks.

A tummy tuck is generally safe but carries some risks:

Side effects include:

  • Blood clots from immobility.

  • Fluid buildup requiring drainage.

  • Infection from poor wound care.

  • Scarring, usually along the bikini line.

  • Delayed healing due to smoking or health issues.

  • Anesthesia issues, especially in patients with health concerns

💡 A review shows that local complications, such as hematoma and seroma, occur in 10–20% of cases, while systemic issues are rare, affecting fewer than 1% of patients.
