Bookimed is free for patients – clinics pay us a commission, and you pay the clinic its own price with no markup. Five steps to your forehead reduction in Thailand:
Tell us about your hairline goals and share photos of your hairline from the front, side, and top, with your hair pulled back.
Your coordinator finds clinics that match your needs and helps you choose. Your preferred clinics then send personalized treatment plans and quotes for you to compare.
We set treatment dates that work for you and help arrange your flights and accommodation. If needed, we request a visa support letter from the clinic.
The clinic team performs your forehead reduction on the agreed dates. We support you throughout your trip.
You can fly home 7–10 days after surgery, and your result settles over 6–12 months. Your coordinator stays in touch and helps arrange a follow-up if you need one.
Some clinics ask for a deposit. A $200 or €200 deposit paid through Bookimed comes off your clinic bill and is refundable up to 10 calendar days before your visit. A deposit paid to the clinic follows its own terms.

You can usually fly home 7–10 days after surgery, after suture removal and a surgeon check, with your surgeon’s approval if there are no complications. Desk work may be possible after 10–14 days, once swelling and bruising are socially acceptable and sutures have been removed. Light walking may start earlier, while strenuous exercise usually resumes after 4–6 weeks with your surgeon’s clearance. Your final result takes shape over 6–12 months as swelling and numbness settle and the scar matures.
Expect a head dressing, swelling, and bruising across your forehead and around your eyes. Sleep with your head elevated, and avoid bending or lifting.
Your sutures are removed, and swelling and bruising fade. Avoid hair dye or heavy styling, and protect the scar from sun. Fly home on days 7–10 after suture removal and your surgeon’s check, with approval if there are no complications.
You can return to your normal routine as numbness and tightness gradually ease. Avoid pulling at the hairline, and wait for your surgeon’s clearance before strenuous exercise.
Your scar matures, sensation returns, and your final hairline position settles. Keep sun protection on the scar.
When to contact your clinic: Contact your clinic if bleeding does not stop, or if you develop spreading redness, warmth, fever, or worsening pain. For chest pain or sudden breathlessness after a long flight, seek emergency help locally.

Most tourists choose 4 and 5 star hotels with all-inclusive meals. Such hotels have everything for a comfortable stay: varied food, a large well-groomed territory, animation for children and adults. Some hotels have their own water park, which guests can use for free. Budget travelers can afford to book an economical 3-star hotel with half board or no meals at all.
