Prof. Dr. Ali Aydın Yavuz is a radiation oncology professor. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. He completed his specialty training in radiation oncology in 1996. He led the Department of Radiation Oncology at Karadeniz Technical University from 1997 to 2006. He served as an associate professor at Karadeniz Technical University and Başkent University from 2004 to 2009. He was Head of Radiation Oncology at Başkent University. He also served as Chief Physician of Başkent University Adana Kışla Campus for three years. He became a professor at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and remained on the faculty until 2018.
Internationally, he delivered Turkey’s first oral presentations at ASCO in 1999 and at ASTRO in 2000. In 2008 he gained experience at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has authored many international publications. He now practices at Koru Ankara Hospital. His clinical focus includes lung, head and neck, brain, breast, gastrointestinal, urologic, gynecologic, skin, and soft tissue tumors.
Dr. Namik Ozkan is a general surgeon at Memorial Ankara Hospital. He specializes in bariatric and abdominal surgeries. He is the founding dean of the Aksaray University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Ozkan trained at Ankara University. He treats complex conditions like obesity with surgical interventions.
