If a friend asked me about this, I'd tell them the difference is night and day. My knee feels so much better than it did before the surgery, with much less pain. Of course, recovery isn't instant. The biggest challenge for me right now is some morning stiffness, but once I get moving it improves. The clinic staff and surgeon were professional and answered all my questions about the full replacement, which included the kneecap and a Smith & Nephew implant. The surgeon and staff were fantastic. I'm in the early phase of healing now; while I’m still slightly tired and my mobility is a bit reduced, I can feel myself getting stronger daily. It’s a steady process. Looking back, my only personal regret is that I wish I knew more Turkish to connect with people directly.
