I used Apple Pay, which had a low transaction limit and forced me to make about 20 separate payments to cover the cost. Medically, everything was straightforward. I had lens replacement in both eyes on the same day, and the recovery so far is better than expected. my doctor, who took the time to explain which technique suited my eyes and was very honest about the realistic vision outcome I could anticipate. I must also say a huge thank you to the night nurse ( mirve ) I think was her name she was outstanding and took good care of me . It was reassuring that there were no additional expenses. The one thing to note is that there was little contact from the clinic after I left, but the core service was solid.

The cost was so much better than in the US, and I was also able to get the lens I wanted that is not available in the US yet. I would only suggest that there be at least one nurse or medical staff besides the doctor who speaks English.
