My main concern before starting treatment was how my body would react to the drug. I’m undergoing a course of Keytruda immunotherapy for kidney cancer, receiving an infusion every three weeks. Yes, I have experienced some side effects. These are mainly digestive issues, and I feel a little more tired. Of course, I am still concerned that these might get worse over time. But I must say that the doctor and all the staff have been very attentive and professional, which gives me confidence that I made the right choice of clinic and treatment process.

I received a small prosthesis measuring 3.5 cm; although I’m not sure of the brand, I’m satisfied with it. My care was very good from start to finish. As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I was greeted by my interpreter and team. They were very friendly, put me at ease and explained what would happen and when. I had checks done and blood taken etc and met the consultant. He was absolutely lovely and again explained the whole procedure. I also met with the Anaesthetist. My procedure was completed and the care was fantastic from all the staff involved.
