My rather unexpected decision to have two implants fitted at the age of 76 was immediately put into action by Dentist Gürkan! He gave me excellent advice, then examined my jawbone using an X-ray, and after a further 45 minutes, the two implants were professionally and perfectly in place! His very, very friendly manner and steady hand made this procedure a truly memorable experience! My thanks also go to the entire team: the surgical assistant, the reception staff, as well as the German interpreter and the member of staff who drove me from the office to the Dent-Helen-Clinic and, after the treatment, to the nearest cash machine, and looked after me. Such an unparalleled, all-encompassing service is unthinkable in Germany! Thank you very much for this positive experience and for continuing to keep your patients happy! I decided to seek treatment with dentist Ela Cabuk after reading reviews so I'm hoping this review will help in the same way for another undecided person in making a sound choice,. I found her expertise professionalism and compassion to ones needs a true relief. I had receding gums on my top four front teeth and the roots were exposed, my own thought were to just get 4 on 4 but Ela found the perfect solution in restoring and firming my four front teeth without going to the extreme. I would recommend her any day, I could not fault my treatment or my outcome.

If you’re thinking about getting crowns, I’d advise you to pay very close attention to the colour matching right from the start. I’ve had seven zirconia crowns fitted and the care I received from the surgeon and the staff was really good. Everything was professional. My only minor criticism is that the colour ended up being a touch too yellow compared to my natural teeth. I’m still in the healing phase and the sensation when chewing hasn’t quite settled yet, which is normal. Despite the minor colour issue, the service was excellent and I would recommend the clinic.

Before the procedure, the doctor took the time to explain what to expect, which helped me prepare myself mentally. The partial denture placement took only two visits, which was very convenient. The support continued after the procedure, as the clinic was always available to answer any questions, which I consider important. The only thing to take into account is that I incurred additional costs after the initial payment. Overall, I rate the doctor's and team's work as good, but not excellent, so I give it 4 out of 5.

It was very important to me that the surgeon personally carried out the placement of my seven-plus implants. Everything went according to plan. I’m currently in the early stages of recovery, and I’m feeling exactly as I expected, with no surprises. The clinic provided excellent support after the procedure: they were always available and gave me clear aftercare instructions. The doctor also gave me a clear timeline for the fitting of the crowns and, importantly, there were no additional costs.

What stuck in my mind most was the moment when the doctor showed me the CT scan and explained the entire treatment plan in detail. He personally carried out the placement of my seven Straumann implants. The aftercare was excellent. They took an active interest in how I was feeling, gave me very clear aftercare instructions and were always available, which was very reassuring. The only additional costs were for the medication, which I bought from a chemist. It’s worth noting that everything I needed to know was explained to me before I arrived at the clinic, so there were no surprises.

My biggest worry going into this was the sensitivity afterwards. I was prepared for significant discomfort, but it was much more manageable than expected and has since disappeared completely. The results are very clear and objective. My teeth are visibly 4-5 shades whiter, and the color is perfectly uniform across my entire smile, with no patchiness at all. It’s a definite improvement. I am also tracking the color, and so far, the shade has held steady without any relapse. The whole process was handled professionally by the surgeon and staff in a modern clinic environment. I would absolutely direct others to this clinic.

I recently returned from my second trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. In September 2025 I had full mouth extractions, 12 Zirconia implants placed (6 upper jaw, 6 lower jaw), gums stitched over the implants to help Osseointegration of the implants. I returned in January 2026 for the final stage treatment and the installation of 24 Zirconium crowns. This involved the implants being revealed. The healing caps of the implants being removed and temporary abutments fitted so impressions could be taken of my gums, upper and lower jaws. This is so the implants will fit perfectly when my new teeth had been designed with the aid of C.A.D. The abutments were then removed and healing caps replaced onto the implants. Next day my permanent abutments were installed and I was given some temporary teeth which placed onto my abutments, and could be removed. They were made of a foul tasting material called PMMA. But it gave a good idea of the final results, even though they were a greyish colour. The final day my permanent teeth were checked rigourously for bite adjustment, gaps, spacing, alignment etc, before being placed permanently. My second visit was a five day stay, and involved visiting the Clinic each day, and a couple of longer days towards the end. But I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look. But I have to say big Thanks to my medical coordinator at Bookimed, Dr Kora. By booking my trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir through Bookimed, it completely removed the added stress of having to organise all of the logistics of the trip on my own. Dr Kora was extremely helpful and efficient in helping to organise and arrange everything with the Clinic on my behalf.
