I decided to seek treatment with dentist Ela Cabuk after reading reviews so I'm hoping this review will help in the same way for another undecided person in making a sound choice,. I found her expertise professionalism and compassion to ones needs a true relief. My rather unexpected decision to have two implants fitted at the age of 76 was immediately put into action by Dentist Gürkan! He gave me excellent advice, then examined my jawbone using an X-ray, and after a further 45 minutes, the two implants were professionally and perfectly in place! His very, very friendly manner and steady hand made this procedure a truly memorable experience! My thanks also go to the entire team: the surgical assistant, the reception staff, as well as the German interpreter and the member of staff who drove me from the office to the Dent-Helen-Clinic and, after the treatment, to the nearest cash machine, and looked after me. Traveling alone to Turkey was my biggest concern, but the ease of communication from start to finish was a relief. The process of checking in, the transfers, and the clinic was a flawless transition that really eased my worries. However, getting the airport transfer meeting point information before I landed would have made that part of the trip easier. My surgeon clearly explained all the material options for the 5-6 crowns I received. Recovery is going about as expected. The clinic's support has been good; they provided a clear aftercare guide and are easy to reach. My advice for others is to ask about the recovery timeline for eating and to bring additional funds for anything not visible in initial photos—or send an X-ray beforehand if possible.

I now feel better than I expected

What worried me most was how such a large number of new crowns would look and feel. But my dentist was very attentive. He carefully checked my bite, matched the colour of the zirconia crowns to my teeth, and showed me the result before fitting them. In the end, I had more than seven crowns fitted, and I now feel better than I expected. The support from the clinic is also great — they’re always on hand. There were no additional costs. I’d advise future patients to ask straight away how many days the treatment will take, and to make sure they allow an extra two days for flights.

I didn’t say I was looking for a cheap clinic; I was looking for high-quality work. The dentist fitted 21 zirconia crowns. I’m not experiencing any discomfort or pain. A brilliant job. Many thanks to the dentist and the interpreter. The transfer service was excellent.

Be sure to check exactly how long it will take the clinic to carry out the dental work. Seven days is the minimum. Do not include the day of arrival or departure of your flight.

If you’re planning to have crowns fitted at this clinic, the first thing I’d mention is the cost. The dentist was a great help; he carefully showed me all the colour options for my monolithic zirconia crowns and helped me make my choice. The staff were also very good. After the procedure, I was given clear aftercare instructions, and I’m generally feeling just as I expected. Everything went smoothly. However, there were additional costs not included in the initial quote. So my main piece of advice is: take more money with you, because it actually ends up costing more than you expect.

I had implants fitted at the Mavidenta clinic in Turkey. The coordinator from Vookimed organised everything very well and was always available to answer any questions. The clinic’s coordinator was also always on hand to help with any queries. I was kept informed every day about when my appointments with the doctor were. The doctors are competent and did their job well; I’m satisfied. The interpreters were also very competent. Thank you for your work. I can recommend the clinic to everyone.

I wasn’t happy that I had to pay more than originally quoted. I had to pay an extra 10 euros for each crown. Also, on the second visit, I had to pay for the hotel myself, even though I’d initially been told that the clinic would cover the cost.

I now feel better than I expected

What surprised me most was how quickly the whole procedure was over. I’d expected to spend at least four hours in the dentist’s chair, but my dentist finished in less than two. During that time, he removed a number of decayed teeth with great professionalism and fitted 10 Nobel Biocare implants. He personally consulted with me before the operation and carried it out himself. I now feel better than I expected. The clinic is always on hand, which is very important during the recovery period. There were no additional costs. I’d advise future patients to have a good meal the evening before the operation. And if you’re facing the same extent of treatment as I did, make sure to take plenty of tissues with you to the hotel.

It’s hard for me to say what I didn’t like. I think everything went absolutely brilliantly. Everyone, from the coordinator to the driver, carried out their duties to perfection. I’m very grateful to everyone!

I think my visit went well, but I’m not sure what could be done to make my treatment more comfortable.

the service was excellent and I would recommend the clinic

If you’re thinking about getting crowns, I’d advise you to pay very close attention to the colour matching right from the start. I’ve had seven zirconia crowns fitted and the care I received from the surgeon and the staff was really good. Everything was professional. My only minor criticism is that the colour ended up being a touch too yellow compared to my natural teeth. I’m still in the healing phase and the sensation when chewing hasn’t quite settled yet, which is normal. Despite the minor colour issue, the service was excellent and I would recommend the clinic.

The clinic is very modern and clean, and the staff and dentist are very friendly and dedicated to their work. I would definitely recommend this clinic because they really did a great job; I was amazed by the results. Thank you very much.

The only thing I was missing was someone who spoke my language so I could communicate better, because I don't speak English, but I managed to get by using an app

I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look

I recently returned from my second trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. In September 2025 I had full mouth extractions, 12 Zirconia implants placed (6 upper jaw, 6 lower jaw), gums stitched over the implants to help Osseointegration of the implants. I returned in January 2026 for the final stage treatment and the installation of 24 Zirconium crowns. This involved the implants being revealed. The healing caps of the implants being removed and temporary abutments fitted so impressions could be taken of my gums, upper and lower jaws. This is so the implants will fit perfectly when my new teeth had been designed with the aid of C.A.D. The abutments were then removed and healing caps replaced onto the implants. Next day my permanent abutments were installed and I was given some temporary teeth which placed onto my abutments, and could be removed. They were made of a foul tasting material called PMMA. But it gave a good idea of the final results, even though they were a greyish colour. The final day my permanent teeth were checked rigourously for bite adjustment, gaps, spacing, alignment etc, before being placed permanently. My second visit was a five day stay, and involved visiting the Clinic each day, and a couple of longer days towards the end. But I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look. But I have to say big Thanks to my medical coordinator at Bookimed, Dr Kora. By booking my trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir through Bookimed, it completely removed the added stress of having to organise all of the logistics of the trip on my own. Dr Kora was extremely helpful and efficient in helping to organise and arrange everything with the Clinic on my behalf. Also answering any questions or concerns I may have had at any point, over the two trips. For which I am extremely grateful!

I recently returned from my second visit to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. The Clinic is staffed by warm and welcoming people. You are treated well, and the Clinic itself is clean and hygienic.

I honestly can't say that there was anything I didn't like. I felt like I was treated well during both visits and the level of professionalism and care was very good. Obviously having dental implants involves a significant amount of dental work to be done, but I felt it was done as well as possible.

My doctor was honesty from the start. He was very clear about the limitations of shape and color, and explained exactly why no-prep veneers were a good option for my specific case, even letting me try on temporary ones first.
