The doctor completed medical education at Karadeniz Technical University and specialized at the University of Health Sciences, Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital. With a focus on spine surgery, trauma surgery, and arthroplasty, the doctor has a particular interest in pelvis-acetabulum surgery. The doctor has performed numerous successful operations in orthopedics and traumatology. In 2014, the doctor was a finalist in the Tubitak XI Technology Awards. Currently, the doctor serves patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental Orthopedics and Traumatology Department.
The doctor graduated from Hacettepe Medical School in 1985 and became an Internal Medicine Specialist at Ege University in 1990. Associate Professor Dr. Ali Solmaz is a general and bariatric surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in general, metabolic, and obesity surgery. Dr. Solmaz completed his medical education and surgical training at Marmara University, a leading institution in Turkey. He earned his associate professorship at Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital.
Dr. Solmaz has performed thousands of surgeries at hospitals such as Çamlıca Erdem Hospital and Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital. He is known for his skills in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery. These techniques help patients recover faster and achieve better results.
He is active in medical research and serves on the editorial boards of several journals. Dr. Solmaz is also a member of professional organizations, including IFSO, the Turkish Surgery Association, and the Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery Association.
