How Much Does Vaccination Cost in Istanbul?

Vaccination in Istanbul typically costs from $100 to $200. The total depends on the vaccine type, the number of doses required, and whether you visit a private clinic or a university hospital. Patients save around 50% compared to the US, where this procedure costs $200 on average. Private clinical fees usually cover the vaccine, a specialist consultation, and international patient coordination.

  • Standard boosters: Often fall into the lower price tier for routine immunizations.
  • Travel vaccines: Typically cost more for specialized shots like yellow fever or typhoid.
  • HPV vaccine: Specialized non-routine vaccines generally add 50% to 100% to basic rates.
  • Private bundles: Comprehensive immunity packages for travelers or expats often carry premium pricing.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Istanbul serves as Turkey's primary hub for JCI-accredited facilities, offering deeper specialty depth than regional cities. While public centers are an option for residents, international patients often find better value at top-tier centers like Anadolu Medical Center or Memorial Şişli. These institutions provide English-speaking coordination and often maintain stock for rare travel vaccines that smaller regional clinics may lack.

If they can improve on having Doctors who speak english or a good translators. Also the cost quoted to a patient when booking should be maintained instead of bri ging other additional charges once you get to the hospital. They should also confirm things in advance instead of saying yes just so you can make an appointment and when you getvthere the service is not available. This wasted a lot of my time.
The hospital's willingness to.pick and drop me off. The cleanliness of the hospital.
The delays in waiting to be attended to despite making prior booking, unavailability of a vaccine which the hospital had confirmed to be available, delay in getting a driver to drop me back to the hotel and poor translators.

Excellent support in the general WhatsApp chat from Hamid and in a separate chat from Saida and Alexey
We went for the first shot of the Pfizer vaccine. Excellent support in the general WhatsApp chat from Hamid and in a separate chat from Saida and Alexey. They organized a free and very convenient transfer from the airport to the clinic, for which special thanks. The transfer was on time and at the agreed place with remote support of translators. At the clinic I met Maya, who speaks Russian very well, walked us through all the procedures, including registration, and also helped us pass the PCR test (I asked for it myself). Within 3-4 hours, all information about the PCR test and vaccination correctly appeared in the HES application
