The moment I saw the result, even with the initial swelling, I could tell the shape was exactly what I wanted. It’s a great feeling. My goal was a more defined tip, and that's precisely what the surgeon delivered using an open approach. The whole process was smooth, and the staff were genuinely caring. The most difficult part of recovery so far is just having to sleep upright, which is temporary. A huge bonus is that I am breathing perfectly through my nose already. I am so grateful for the surgeon's skill and the clear communication from the team.

This was my 3rd rhinoplasty. The first one was unsuccessful, they ruined my nose with an implant. The second rhinoplasty did not correct all the problems. Since this was supposed to be a decisive operation, I took the choice of a doctor very seriously and the Bookimed service helped me a lot. My consultant Tatyana helped me a lot with my choice, she answered all my questions very accurately! We chose Dr. Cem Altindag because he specializes in the nose. I liked my translator! Very attentive and nice girl! The provision of medical services in the hospital was of very high quality. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. Special thanks to my attending physician! I'm very pleased with everything! So far I am satisfied with the results, I will wait for a full recovery! I had some minor problems with the hotel, but this issue was resolved very quickly. It was my second surgery could truly, and I didn't. know if it fixes the functional issues from my first. I’m glad I went forward. The surgeon used a rib cartilage graft to correct my breathing problems, and my nasal bridge already has a straighter profile. The team and clinic were solid. That said, the recovery is not easy. My nose tip is still very swollen, and the constant mouth breathing has been my biggest challenge so far. The one thing I wish I had really understood beforehand is just how much longer and more painful the healing process can be for a revision. It's a serious commitment.

To be honest, my biggest fear was that the asymmetry of my nostrils—the main issue with my first operation—couldn’t be corrected. The surgeon calmly explained the open approach he would use and put me completely at ease. Now, just 15 days on, the recovery process is progressing well. Although it’s too early to judge the bridge of my nose, I can already see that the tip of my nose has improved projection. The clinic staff have been incredibly attentive, which has made these first few weeks much easier. I am grateful for the care I have received.

Starting from the beginning. My international coordinator maurice did an amazing job in getting me the best doctor i needed for my procedure. Traveling to turkey 🇹🇷 was an incredible experience very excited. At memorial sisli hospital my local coordinator fatiha was very forthcoming with all the details, took care of everything. Then my translators Mohamed and beyza also very helpful and professionals great job helping me understand exactly what was being said. Last but not least. The most important part of the experience. Doctor.. Mustafa akarcay. He is the one that made this journey an amazing, wonderful, magnificent adventure. The doctor is top notch, did a wonderful job. My hair transplant and my wife rhinoplasty, it was great. Also we did our teeth, they butchered my teeth, I did not know they were going to shave down all my teeth, I had a very good teeth but I want to better, the dentist said you have a nice teeth, but never told me not to do, when did the teeth they put treaty together like a bridge, versus doing one at a time, now I do not have space between them, besides completely ruined my teeth, they didn’t do the proper way, he and Brazil I went to see a dentist and they told me this technique is prohibited here because they did butchered my wife in my mouth, both of us did our teeth. I had another big problem with my liposuction, very bad side effects, because I didn’t have enough fat, but Dr. Baki did with out even looking my body. My surgery was done Saturday, I called them on Monday but no one saw me until Wednesday, I finally saw the doctor and he said nothing to worry about that was normal, for sure it was nothing normal about the surgery, I sent pictures to doctors all of them sad that I need to take care of that and I couldn’t even travel, Dr. Baki sad in 40 years he never saw such a thing, but he said that was going to be fine, I travel back the following Friday to Brazil, I went to see a plastic surgeon, he said that I almost died, thank God I’m here, they did not care about my health, horrible communication with the doctor, when I spoke to a few people that takes care of the patients there, they told me that they would get right back to me, they would not get back to me for 10 hours, that’s for me was crazy. When I set up the appointment, I really want to talk to Hakan, they told me that I would do with him but they offer me Dr. Baki and I told them I did not want Dr. Baki that I wanna dr. Hakan, The day that I was supposed to see Hakan They told me that he had Covid and he could not do my surgery, I thought was weird, so they told me Dr. Baki was going to do my surgery and Dr. Baki was much better surgeon, I didn’t feel good about this but I went anyway. I reached out to Dr. Hakan and found out that he never had Covid and also I never had an appointment with him and that he was booked out. So I’m not sure if I would recommend them, I’m spending money after the surgery and they didn’t even offer to pay part of it, it is almost 2 weeks after my surgery and I’m still bruised all over and I’m really in bad situation. Did 2 Stars was giving because the booking team they are unbelievable nice and they do deserve 10 stars, but the people they assigned me had few things that I didn’t like it push a different doctor, and also the doctor did not do a good job . I do not recommend I will post pictures, also I will post pictures of my teeth before and after

Ease of booking, ability to choose which doctor would best fit my needs, translation, upfront cost and ability to stay longer in country, pickup from airport, hotel, medical facilities, very sweet nurses even if they didn't speak my language they were so kind to me, accommodations for my friend who joined me to procedure, just everything worked out as I had hoped.

I would like to thank the clinic for its good organisation and professional attitude. Everything was well thought out for my arrival - I was met and provided with a transfer. The hospital is large and modern, you can feel the high level of professionalism. The nursing staff is attentive and responsive. Special thanks to Dr Hazar - a wonderful doctor, everything was done accurately and with great precision. I had an endoscopic lift and blepharoplasty with small, neat stitches - I am very happy with the result. Thank you to the whole team for their work and care for patients.

I liked that transport was taken care off from airport landing to departure, from hotel to clinic nearly every day even though it was only a 15 minute walk. The B travel- cab service were always on time. The group of nurses in the hospital were very caring and friendly. Most could speak english or a little and those that couldn't we would use Google translate. When the nurses changed shift they would all come to your room to say bye and introduce you to the changover ( I thought this showed nice manners). I picked Dr B because I thought he was capable of my requirements that most surgeons didn't have enough advanced skills for. He was very honest and had a good eye to notice my imperfections, which were only true and I was impressed he noticed them so quickly. He was caring and I felt comfortable with him. I can't yet see the results because im so swollen. It is frustrating that you can't share the results together. I will have an idea in a few months of my breast and rhinoplasty surgery.

Even though it’s quite nerve-racking to travel to another country for surgery, I never once felt uncomfortable. The team truly made sure everything went smoothly, and whenever I had a question, I received help right away which I really appreciated. The hospital itself was great, and the staff there were all so kind. My boyfriend was allowed to accompany me everywhere, which made me feel even more comfortable and supported. Overall, I experienced it as good week with amazing care and guidance!

I really enjoyed my trip to Istanbul. Bookimed created a very effortless experience. On arrival at the airport after a canceled flight and having to rebook surgery, it was very easy to find my transportation which took me directly to the hotel. Due to complications with our flight on arrival, the rescheduling of the surgery was arranged by my medical coordinator and he handled it very quickly and easily (on my part, im not sure if it was easy on him, lol). The next day the transportation was already scheduled to get me to the hospital for revision rhinoplasty. There was quite a language barrier but bookimed assured we had a translator with us for the majority of our stay or was readily available to communicate through cell phone if necessary. Upon waking from surgery I was shivering extremely badly, which seems to be a normal experience for patients waking up from anesthesia, which I was not aware of and caused a little bit of worry from my guest that accompanied me. Once this resided the night in the hospital I spent the majority of the time sleeping so the nurses took good care of me, but there was still that language barrier which made some difficulties with understanding what medications they were giving me or wanted me to do. I am a nurse in the United States and can say that the nurses did a fabulous job with making sure I was ambulating the evening of my surgery to get the blood flowing even though I didn't feel like it. The medical coordinator came by in the morning to assist with getting my medications, then we got some tea and we waited about 20 minutes for the transportation that took us back to the hotel. After that my guest and I spent about three nights in the hotel room before I felt okay enough to go explore, during this time period the medical coordinator continued to check in to make sure we were doing okay, he even gave us some recommendations on places to explore. We arranged the transportation on the days we explored, but given the advice from locals, we made sure we did not get scammed by the taxi drivers as this is a common practice in Istanbul that we were made aware of. Days later transportation was arranged for me to go see the doctor again and have the "tampons" removed from my nose and my nose to be cleaned out. All in all the pain was fairly minimum, I just felt very tired, the doctor was extremely professional and really took his time on my case which I knew was extremely difficult, the medical coordinator was fantastic and really eased the stress and anxiety of the surgery. If i do another cosmetic surgery in Istanbul I will be booking through BookIMed. Also Professor Doner was an AMAZING rhinoplasty surgeon and I highly recommend him.

I liked everything about my experience. First and foremost the smooth and easy organization, no complications from landing till departure. Hospital took care of everything from airport to the hotel and back. And there were no unexpected expenses except the medications you need after the surgery once you leave the hospital which is normal and is the case everywhere. This was my second nosejob because I have had really complicated nose and doctor got the most he could out of it and I feel amazing.

The clinic is excellent. Thank you to coordinator Stanislav. He is a very responsive and responsible person. I recommend this clinic to everyone. From my experience, I can say that medical care in Turkey is of a high standard. For those who have doubts, do not hesitate. Everything operates at a high level.

In brief I can say that this Bookimed.com from my side does not deserve a lot of trust they have changed the price two or three times, and especially offensive that the last time it was changed before the operation in 20 minutes is when you have not eaten almost since 18.00 yesterday came to the clinic already lunch waiting for the operation. and you say the price has increased by 15% you agree, well where to go, to look for a new clinic time is needed and accommodation, if for example they said for a day I 100% refused and so run with things not everyone wants. Plus after the operation and with them to contact was difficult they responded to messages if possible and the next day or even a day later if it was a day off. And I will add that at the end you got a bigger nose than you wanted, although they assured it was swelling. Well, it's been more than a month and you can see not a big curvature even, as it was before. I don't know if it'll go away in a year, but that's a long time. I know that people in other clinics have had rhinoplasty and are happy with their nose after a week and every day more and more, but here, according to them, the nose will become like the photo only in a year.
