Overall everything is great!
Everything is at the highest level. I won’t talk about treatment, because I don’t know myself, that is, I haven’t been treated. I was examined by a doctor and consulted. But I liked everything. The doctor's competence, the reception staff, the cleanliness, the equipment... The only problem is probably the parking in front of the clinic. It is difficult to park as the spaces are all occupied. But this is a problem for any big city, especially the capital. Overall everything is great! Read more less

I like the speed and doctor’s expertise and empathy level. However, especially for my ENT issue is remain unresolved and the resolution offered is not satisfactory. If doctor could conduct further test and do better follow ups, maybe then able to understand and analyse the root cause of issues. At this point, there’s still no understanding of the situation nor any right support with my symptoms and issues. Read more less

A nephrectomy is the surgical removal (resection) of a kidney. It is prescribed for tumors or chronic inflammatory diseases, when the body stops working properly and negatively affects the entire body.

  • Complete and partial resection of the kidney is possible. In world practice, doctors always try to save part of the organ. At the same time, they remove even large tumors up to 4, and sometimes up to 7 cm. A well-performed partial resection allows you to cope with the disease and preserve kidney function. You will receive effective treatment and save both kidneys.
  • Nephrectomy is performed by an open method, laparoscopically or using a Da Vinci robot. In international practice, open surgery, which requires a large incision (15-20 cm), is rarely performed by doctors. This method is considered too traumatic, with a high risk of postoperative complications, a long and painful rehabilitation period. Modern medical technologies make it possible to remove the kidney laparoscopically (through 3-4 thin punctures up to 1 cm) or on a Da Vinci robot. At the same time, you will spend only 2-3 days in the hospital and will be able to return to your usual way of life.
  • Consider the experience of the surgeon. A kidney tumor is a rare disease, so not every doctor has enough experience in performing a complete or partial resection. If you have been recommended such an operation, pay attention to the qualifications of the surgeon. Not only his experience is important, but also the number of surgical interventions performed by him, their success, skills in performing laparoscopic nephrectomy or kidney removal on the Da Vinci robot.
