The operations are performed with a low-traumatic method using Da Vinci robotic system. A doctor removes the tumor through the incisions up to 2 cm. The recovery period is faster than after the open intervention.
Radiooncologists of HM prescribe brachytherapy to irradiate neoplasms. Under the supervision of ultrasound, a doctor puts an implant with a radioactive substance into the prostate. It destroys cancer cells and does not damage healthy tissues.
Clinical trials are conducted at HM Clinic for the medicamentous treatment of prostate cancer. If a patient wishes, he/she may participate.
