Josep Brugada

Prof. Josep Brugada is a cardiologist who discovered the genetic cause of Brugada Syndrome. He has performed over 25,000 cardiac ablations, including 2,000 procedures on children. He currently serves as the Chief Cardiologist at Centro Médico Teknon in Barcelona. Since 2010, he has also served as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona.

Dr. Brugada treats heart rhythm disorders and heart failure. He specializes in treating atrial fibrillation and various cardiomyopathies. The doctor performs specialized procedures to stabilize the heart's electrical system, which includes the cardiovascular system as a whole. These procedures include:
