The doctor graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and completed a urology specialization in 1991. He served as the Chief of Urology Clinic at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital from 2001 to 2013 and became a Professor of Urology in 2008. Prof. Dr. Ali Ferruh Akay is a board-certified urologist with more than 30 years of medical experience. He has specialized in urology for over 25 years. He currently serves as Professor of Urology at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Akay earned his medical degree from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his urology residency at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine. In 2005, he received advanced training in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Rochester in the USA.
