After graduating from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 2004, Dr. Tuncay Taş completed his specialization in Urology at Taksim Training and Research Hospital in 2010. After the training he received in 2006 and 2007 at the “Laparoscopy, Robotics and Oncology Center” of Heildelberg University, Heilbronn SLK Hospital, Germany, he continues to serve his patients in Turkey, especially in the field of Laparoscopic/Robotic Surgery. Prof. Dr. Ali Ferruh Akay is a board-certified urologist with more than 30 years of medical experience. He has specialized in urology for over 25 years. He currently serves as Professor of Urology at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Akay earned his medical degree from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his urology residency at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine. In 2005, he received advanced training in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Rochester in the USA.

He has worked at several leading institutions. These include Dicle University, Istanbul Training and Research Hospital, Memorial Diyarbakır Hospital, Veni Vidi Hospital, and Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

He became a professor in 2018. He has received several awards, including the 2015 Urooncology Research Award. He also won best oral presentation at the AUA Congress in 2008 and the EAU Congress in 2009. Dr. Kurtuluş has published widely in international journals. He is an active member of the EAU, Endourological Society, Turkish Association of Urology, and Urooncology Association.

The doctor graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and completed a urology specialization in 1991. He served as the Chief of Urology Clinic at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital from 2001 to 2013 and became a Professor of Urology in 2008.
